16 Still Not

The Beta's and Alpha's parents were also present here now. When they needed Chloe she wasn't here but now she is here acting all mighty. I don't know what to say to them.

"Oh, my daughter,are you fine?" Penelope asked Catherine, her daughter who was a drama queen as she was all fine but was still crying. Even said so many bad things to me.

Everyone was saying so many terrible things to me and I felt like I should just kill them with my bare hands. I won't hesitate to do that as I have killed many people so it wasn't a big deal. But I don't want to do that because of Xavier.

I thought I can have them on my side in the war that is about to come but I think these coward idiots won't do anything for me.

"ENOUGH!" the male shouted, his Alpha voice can make anyone does anything. His voice was loud, deep, and firm. The whispers came to a halt at once as everyone looked down not daring to meet their Alpha's stare.

"But she was the one who started this fire why won't you say anything to her, Za-" She was stopped by my glare before she can say Xavier's nickname. She pouted and acted all innocent but I could see a smirk under all this acting. She was trying to make me look like the culprit.

"Do you think I'm an idiot or something like all of you?" He asked loudly. Many of the wolves looked sad as their Alpha had just said them, idiot, while other people look angry because of it.

"Why would she risk her life and save you all if she was the one who started the fire?" He asked all of them. I looked at Sebastian who was smiling because for the first time it wasn't him who was fighting for me, or I was handling it myself but my mate, who was standing up for me.

"Xavier you're supposed to take care of pack members, you can't turn a blind eye to what your mate had done. Rules are the same for everyone. Mate or not." His father said angrily, I could see the male fighting with himself as he doesn't want to say anything bad to his father.

"I know how everything works father. But you all can't just say things like that to your future Luna..." A smile made a place on my lips when I saw how Chloe and Penelope's face changed into an angry one.

"As for punishment for this will be given after I investigate who did this in real." He said and after taking my hand he dragged me to his hospital room. I looked back at the scene behind me.....wait...

This is the incident that made me wake up many times, made my night sleepless because of which I refused to accept my true nature as a hybrid, a wolf, and witch.

I could never see what happened truly there in my dreams but I could listen that I was the reason for this fire. The same group of people, some women had burn dress while others skin are burned from the fire. Everyone looking at me with disgust and giving me evil eyes. How...how I didn't realize it before that this was the event that changed my whole life even before it happened.

"Don't worry Ella, I will find the person who did it," Xavier said as we entered his room.

"Hmm... But why were you there? You were supposed to rest." I looked at him with my hands above my hips. Truth to be told, I want to change the topic because if I thought too much about that then I will go crazy.

I just happen to accept my witch side and this happened, were they saying the truth? It occurred because of me, but I wasn't even there then how?

"Because I want to see how my beautiful mate was saving others without even thinking about herself. Truly a Luna." He smiled on which I rolled my eyes.

"I'm flattered. Now lay down and stop talking." He still grinned showing his perfect small teethes with dimples.

"You are not going to move from this bed for three more days, it's an order from your mate because the new doctor who was checking you- as the old doc had gone somewhere- is useless," Oliver stated as he sat beside me, I told him that we have to find who was the real culprit behind the fire, but he said that he will do that as I can't go anywhere.

"When you are fine we have to change these doctors that your mother has kept, they are of no use. If it wasn't Stelly and-" I looked at him with my brows furrowed

"Stelly?" He sure keeps a unique nickname. He shrugged as he continued.

"Her friends. We all would have been in hospital for weeks. Of course, it would affect our pack too." I nodded as he was right. We are known as a powerful pack, now more than ever as I'm a tribrid and most of the Alphas are on our side, but we still have enemies. Being weak can be harmful.

"Okay, now get on work and find who did that. Not to forget to find why everyone thinks it was Ella." He nodded and went outside.

I laid back. My mate had gone somewhere with her friends and I'm not complaining but still, I don't like it when she is with her friend Sebastian or even Oliver. Being too touchy with them.

Bored because the female had been by my side all this time but now she wasn't here. Even if we don't talk much I feel good just by seeing her.

Today wasn't so good, I could see how angry she was when everyone was badmouthing about her. She didn't say anything because of me, I know, and I was glad. I don't want my parents to dislike her, even if they do I will not leave her but still.

I don't know when I fall asleep but I did felt like someone put the blanket on me and told me...goodnight with a kiss on my forehead. Maybe I'm just thinking all this....maybe or maybe not.
