2 Chapter 1

Part 1: The stranger

This is the greatest hidden secret in the universe.

An ancient recognizance to separate our world from the others. One of the all, that our fathers signed it privately.

Seven secret tablets:

"One stone gate is contiguous to seven stone gate in man's world"

"They will be opening only in one way which is the light between the sign".

"Man's ancestors took this secret to the graves with themselves because they broke the vow and sodality got broken by tyrannizing".

"The gate's position will always be hidden, no one must know about the opening time".

"They will be opening in the right time and a right place by the genuine masters that will be far from each other, the fraternity will reborn again".

"In that time which people think the truth is just a night tale, the second era's tales will show the verities".

"The time that believes mixed by superstitions, ignorance and unspecified converted to evil deeds, the battles between light and darkness will begin".

-"The tablet of universe's guards"-

A yellow leaf fell from the plane tree, but before touching the ground burned, and left some ashes behind. The only reason behind it was The Earth's sadness.

Autumn's cold wind was cuddling Athor's cheeks, the sixteen years old boy, and made his hair dance.

Seemingly, it was trying to make him happy and feel free of his hard life or to give apologies for the harsh cold weather.

But he did not feel the cold as he was looking at the children who came in the park with their families. Of course, it wasn't a park such as in the old days.

There were no entertaining tools because the acidic rains damaged them and made them rusty irons. Anyway, without electricity would not work anymore, so not bothered to look at them.

Athor was a boy with big-sized dark eyes, light brown-blond hair, and a beautiful complexion. He was almost 180cm tall. He was taller than other boys his age. His soft and clean skin caught the attention of every passer.

His hair got longer than before. This good look was good for his business though. Yet, he had to hide his pointy long ears under the black hat because some of those rude children used to make fun of him all the time. He didn't know who his family is or where they are and what happened to them? Are they alive or not?

The last war had destroyed everything, so many folks suffered and fell into deep permanent sadness, breaking downs, and many more things. But there was something that Athor believed in deeply; that this isn't the life he wanted.

He couldn't live in stillness against all these injustices. Already he had decided to find a new job besides selling pears and become ready for getting himself into the school.

It was so hard to find a good job for adults and harder for orphan teens who no one cared virtually.

Making money for buying bread was very hard, so people couldn't afford to buy pear that much.

It was sunset, he sat on a bench as his legs went tired. He started looking at the leaves, which were dancing by the wind's song. He was imagining that he had been playing the flute and the burned yellow leaves were dancing with the song of hope.

It might be a cute childish imagination, but showed his beautiful soul; had been speaking to him through his imagination. The only one he could speak to was his new friend; a golden little bird with an incredibly gorgeous long tail.

He had found the wounded bird beside a ruined wall. It was 2 weeks ago. He felt peace in his heart after kept and took well care of her. His little wonderful friend had brought joy into his life.

It was late and the park was almost empty. These days people's faces were strangely unhappy. It was like they had been holding grudge against each other and can't handle living in harmony.

They believed that others were guilty of the bad situation of this era or the destiny that had caused them misery. But in that cold sad period, which leaves couldn't stay on tree branches, he endured everything for only one reason "Hope".

He knew that he deserves the best and shouldn't give up simply and lose his life simply. He was born for a reason; subsisted to have gorgeous life.

It was the time to come back to his small and not too much warm residence. He stood up first, took his steps slowly, and watched faces looking for someone who was fighting to achieve a good life and believing in it, but most of them were down gray.

He was on the way to ruined houses in the west of Tegan.

Deylan was the oldest land in all territories, full of secrets. The zone that had remained safe during the war and after.

Now it was a new homeland for so many people with different views of life. This place had succeeded to keep mankind away for thousands of years since the first creatures' war, but this time inevitably accepted them. Everything ran hard and no one put attention to the beauty of Deylan with those amazing plains.

They had been busy with work and concerned about the future, the color of life was getting hazier.

The sky was surrounded with thick dark clouds, smiles had faded and replaced with cold dark blue faces, the stinky scent of depression was circulating everywhere.

After walking for a long time, he arrived at the ruined town and directly went inside his small place, which fit merely for one person. Many homeless people were living in that place beside and never hurt or fought with each other.

They had been inhabiting quietly in peace, although, they had to face so much injustice from others.

People of Tegan used to behave very bitterly, only because of their miserable conditions and anguish. They never showed respect toward this folk. Anytime their children were around them or got close, parents would pull the child away and punish them for playing with those unusual children. People thought they carried contagious diseases and with a touch, they will get ill too.

Fear was in their eyes. Their hands were shaking because of it. In this small ruin town, there was only one water source. A medium-sized tank, in the middle of the square which they had to use for a whole week.

Thousands of years ago, before the last war catapults destroyed all those stone houses, and the town had named Mirano. The city that had burned in fire because of sin.

Who pushed the button of the war and never thought about the result?

Maybe they expected flowers to grow on the bombs and Philomel sings a song!

Perhaps they had this stupid idea! The kings had moldy chestnut in their heads instead of brains.

He took his dusty shabby boots off and sat on the floor, on an old rug that he had bought from the secondhand sale bazaar from a crazy old crooked woman who was trying to make more money for it.

He laid down and put the blanket on himself. He had gotten a very bad headache from yesterday. He had worked so hard recently. He barely could open his eyes.

The weather was too heavy. He brought out a homemade raisins cake wrapped in a piece of paper and started eating. Imagined it as a big grilled chicken.

He had stretched his leg, while been chewing his sweet cake reminded of the moment he was inside the orphanage.

Margaret was the manager. A 39 years old lady. She lost her husband 5 years ago. He was the first victim of strange deaths.

Every year, to keep his memory she used to bake a fat raisin cake. It was amazingly delicious.

Margaret was nice to all of them. She had no child to raise so she accepted the children. They had a big grape garden and it could gain enough money for a year. She was saving the rainwater inside a pool to make sure grapevines receiving enough water.

The day that the Ferssi couple entered there, he was so happy. The much happy that he didn't wait to eat his favorite cake. Margaret asked him to think a little bit more, but Athor was overexcited to have parents, a family.

He heard about the compliments of them toward his look but never thought what they were meaning to, taking the advantage of the popularity. He was too simple to realize it at that age. He just needed care.

After that he never returned to the orphanage, he was ashamed. He didn't listen to Margaret and then had to handle many pains.

He felt the throb on his feet. His shoes had tightened as his feet grown. He had to buy a new one soon before the scars had become deeper and infected.

He turned his eyes to the doorway, not a real door made of wood, but dried branches that he had found in the Oak forest on the east side. The place that he used to pass beside it every day and after that were farms then they could reach the city, which supposed to take him an hour.
