The dagger arts selection, along with its description, lit up before the panel disappeared.

Suddenly, a cold-feeling energy entered into his body before moving straight to his brain, causing a massive amount of information to appear within Xiao Ying's mind. The energy then circulated around his entire body causing his muscles to twitch. It took several moments before his mind could digest the sudden influx of information.

The information was all over how to use the dagger. The twitching of his muscles made him feel like he had practiced with the dagger for a couple of years, as if he could wield the dagger subconsciously through muscle-memory alone.

In the middle of Xiao Ying pondering over his stats, Erica interrupted him, "Are you ready?"

"Uhm, yes ma'am, let's go." Xiao Ying told her.

Walking out of the door, he followed Erica all the way to the clothes store.

Through the windows, he could see plenty of clothes of all different sizes and colors. They went in and naturally spent a couple of hours shopping for good clothes.

He didn't like bright colors and seemed to take a liking to the color black, so the majority of the clothes they bought were black in color.

In the end, Xiao Ying had gotten a couple of pairs of black sweat pants, black shorts, black T-shirts, black muscle shirts, black boxers, and some black socks.

Next they decided to go to a shoe store. Erica and Xiao Ying only spent around 30 minutes in there, though.

He quickly decided on some black comfortable running shoes. Who knows when or if he'll have to run for his life in this world?

After buying things for him to wear, Erica decided to buy some stuff for his room before heading home.

In the end, Xiao Ying had gotten a couple of badass looking posters with assassin or ninja looking figures on them, a rug, and a couple of more pillows; a man can never have too many pillows.

On their way home, Xiao Ying saw a dagger on the stall of a weapons-dealer. It was all black; blade, hilt, and all. His eyes shined.

"Hey, Mrs Erica…" Xiao Ying hesitated.

"Yes?" Erica inquired.

"Could I trouble you to buy a dagger for me? I really want it."

"Depends on how much it is. We only had 10 silver to spend today, and we've already spent 6."

"Okay. Let me ask."

Walking over, Xiao Ying questioned how much the dagger would cost.

"5 silver." the stall owner said.

"How about 4?" Xiao Ying tried to haggle.

"Sigh~~~! Since no one else seems to be interested, it's a deal." the seller sighed before agreeing.

"Yes! Mrs. Erica, you hear that? He'll take it!" Xiao Ying was excited.

"Yeah, yeah. Now let's go." Erica said while paying and handing the dagger and its scabbard to him.

The journey home was a quick one. It was around an hour past lunch time when they got to the orphanage.

In front of his eyes floated a familiar scene.

Walking up the stairs, he suddenly got excited.

'I got a dagger! And now I can finally look at that cultivation manual!' He thought.

After putting up his clothes, posters, and pillows, he sat cross-legged in the middle of the floor.
