9 Something strange happened

Hello dear readers, I'm dropping this note to explain something.

This novel is no Historical fantasy romance novel, It's a Fantasy romance, So the places and the clothes will look a little like the modern world, But not the modern world, A fantasy world that is a little similar to the modern world.

Amelia opened her eyes and closed them back again as the sunlight caused her to close them again. She blinked a few times before she fully opened. Looking around her, She sat up staring at her surroundings.

She was still in the forest and she was feeling surprisingly good. She looked down at her shirt and noticed that the three first buttons were open. She didn't remember unbuttoning them.

What happened to me? She wondered.

The last thing she remembered was that she felt very tired and her body collapsed, But in her unconscious state, she heard someone's voice. It was a man's voice. She also felt someone hand on her chest.

Amelia's eyes widened and blushed as she buttoned her shirt, But what was that pain she felt, She never felt it before.

She checked the time and stood up quickly and dusted her clothes before she left the forest going back to her house. Her parents must be worried about her.

"Amelia, What took you so long? I was worried, I thought that you might have fainted again, Oh, Thank god that you are fine." Her mother said as she pulled her into her arms.

"I'm fine, Mom, Nothing happened." Amelia said, trying to comfort her mother.

Her mother pulled back and kissed her forehead Before they entered the house.

Jason watched from afar the warm scene between the mother and the daughter unfold before him. A warm smile appeared on his lips before he disappeared from the crowd.

Amelia entered her room and changed her clothes and was about to step out from the room to go to the kitchen and help her mother when she stood In front of the mirror looking at her reflection, Her usually pale face looked more normal than usual, She frowned as she touched her face, It looked much better but how did this happen?.

She wanted to tell her mother but she was afraid that she might not believe her, So she decided to keep it for herself but of course, She told Lily about it.

"Amelia." She heard her mother calling.

"Coming." She replied as she left the room.

In the evening, Amelia went to visit Lily in her house since they hadn't seen each other for the whole day.

"How do you feel?" Amelia asked her friend.

"Better." Lily spoke as she stared at her friend's face, noticing something odd.

"You seem a bit different, Your face is more lively." Lily pointed, still staring at her friend's face.

"I know, I noticed that too and that's why I came to visit you. Something strange happened to me this morning." Amelia replied.
