"Lily, What are you doing? We shouldn't be here." She whispered, afraid that the gate guards might hear them.

Lily stared at the huge castle that was bullied in the forest.

"What could happen if we go there? It's not like they are going to kill us." Lily replied, making her friend sigh.

"Fine, If you want to go in there, Go by yourself, I'm heading back." Amelia said as she started to walk in the other direction leaving Lily standing there.

Lily continued to stand there for a while longer, Wondering why the humans are not allowed to go in there?

"Your curiosity will lead you to be prey for us, The creatures of the night, Leave before you regret."

Lilly jumped in her place hearing a scary gravelly voice, She gulped nervously as she looked around her but didn't find anyone.

Maybe it was her imagination!

"Where did that voice come from?" She mumbled to herself.

"LEAVE." The gravelly voice suddenly became louder.

Lily's eyes widened in fear and she ran in the other direction heading back towards her house. Her heart was pounding in her chest. She didn't stop running until she was In front of her house, Panting heavily. She sat down on the nearby rock to catch her breath.

"This was scary." Lily mumbled to herself.

But it only increased her curiosity to discover that place.

"There you are, Where have you been? I went to Amelia's house and her mother said that the two of you haven't come back yet." Her mother said once she opened the door and found her sitting on a rock just like every day.

"We were gathering the blueberries. Here, I picked so many of them for you." Lily replied as she stood up walking towards her mother, Handing her the basket that wasn't full as she claimed.

Her mother looked inside the basket and sighed, Her daughter is quite a handful.

"Go inside and take a bath, Dinner is almost ready." Linda said as she urged her to go inside the house and close the door behind her.

Lily nodded her head and walked towards the bathroom to take a nice warm bath.

Linda walked back to the kitchen and placed the basket on the table and went to check on the dinner. She was worried when Lily hadn't come back. It was already dark and she thought about going out and looking for her but when she opened the door she found her sitting there.

Lily is an energetic girl who is always eager to explore the world and everything around her, Just like her father, Linda smiled at memories of her husband, Their daughter had inherited all of his qualities, She was nothing like her mother, But she was happy, At least she can always remember her husband through her daughter.
