11 Audacity

Adonis gritted his teeth as he stared at the human girl who was trying to find a way to open the gate and enter.

But His brother was right, She is bold for a human, But why is she insisting on entering the forbidden land? He wondered.

He looked at her one last time before he went back to his room. Ignoring her presence, He decided that the best way to deal with that human is to do nothing. Eventually, she got tired of trying and left, Or so what he wanted to believe.

Jason chuckled before he too went back to his room. He was positive that they will see this little human girl more often these days.

Lily looked around searching for something that might help her open the gate locks but she found nothing.

She sighed and placed her hands on the gate only to pull them away immediately.

"Ouch." Lily winced in pain looking at her palms.

She had touched these locks two minutes ago and they weren't hot. She tried to touch them again only to remove her finger quickly, feeling the heat that was coming from the locks. It was as if someone was watching her and didn't want her to enter.

Knowing that standing here was useless, She decided to go back to her house and search for a way that could make her enter that place.

Lily walked a few steps away from the gate before she turned to look at the castle again, Thinking about something.

"I know that there is someone out there, My name is Lily, I mean no harm, I only came here to find a cure for my sick friend, I know it's forbidden to ask for Vampire blood, All I'm asking is a few drops that will help to safe my friend, I will do anything you want if you saved my friend." Lily finished speaking and waited there for some time.

She had once read that Vampires had a strong hearing ability. She hoped that whoever lived in that place had heard her and would consider her request, Lily didn't realize that her hands were shaking from the fear until she looked down at them.

"Don't think about backing out now, You can do it." Lily whispered, encouraging herself.

Time passed and nothing happened and Lily started to lose hope and went back to her house, But she surely will not give up and will come back again tomorrow and every day until someone hears her.

Adonis who was standing In front of the window used his powers to scare that girl and force her to leave, But he didn't expect her audacity to ask for something that is forbidden, Vampires blood is forbidden to any other creature to ask for, Especially humans.

A rare smile, a beard on his lips as he turned around heading towards the bathroom, He had to admit that this girl is different from the unwanted human guests that they usually had.

"What an interesting human being, I will make sure to enjoy my time with her." Adonis mumbled to himself.
