31 Chapter 31: Is it really him?!

Nick Fury showed her the videos they had from Superman's fight against the Hulk, then the files on what happened when they fought the alien invasion on another planet.

"What do you think?" He asked.

"He's strong!" She said. 'So he was holding back as well.' She thought back to their first encounter when she had attacked him.

"I know, but between you two... who would...". He didn't continue as he saw that she understood his intentions.

"I'm stronger. He seems to be equal, maybe slightly stronger than the hulk... in that case I should be stronger... but not with much." She said, thinking seriously about this.

"The video isn't enough to say, but according to these files, he has grown tremendously stronger... but these can't be right, half a planet was burnt? a crater big enough to look like someone had taken a bite of the planet? No, I suspect that whatever he was fighting exploded in that fight, and he survived it by escaping." She said after thinking about it deeply.

Superman's feet touched the ground on a big bridge. Looking up, he saw that the green goblin had destroyed parts of the bride, making it impossible for people to leave it.

Most people had already escaped but there were A few cars left with some people in them, one car even had a family of four in it.

Looking up, Superman used his laser eyes to simply destroy the insides of the glider, making the Green Goblin fall towards the bridge.

'Shouldnt Spiderman be here? Where could he have gone instead? Superman thought to himself.

The two children in the family car were crying, and the others were also traumatized by this event.

Superman walked towards the car with the family in it. As he saw the children crying he simply knocked on the window.

As they looked up they saw a man with a big, bright smile. He had a white and gold suit with a big "S" on the chest and they stopped their crying and instead became excited.

The parents seeing that Superman was here, finally found the courage to unlock the car and get out.

"Superman, please take our children from here. first." They cried out, they didn't want their children harmed in anyway.

"Don't worry, you can just stay in your cars, I won't allow anything to happen to you." Superman said as he turned towards where the green goblin fell.

He had a green suit similar to the one in the movies. Green Goblin was laying on the ground, just simply staring at Superman, without saying anything.

'Shouldnt he be very talkative?' Superman thought as started walking towards him. But it didn't even take 2 steps before small explosions happened shaking the whole bridge.

The green goblin just raised his arm and showed Superman that he held a detonator, and that he had pressed the button.

The bridge started shaking as the pillars holding it up blew up.

Superman flew up and saw that the bridge was turning towards one side faster than the others, so he flew under the bridge and held it up.

One pillar still stood holding up one part of the bridge, and superman held it on the other side, stoping the bridge from falling apart.

Superman looked up from below the bridge, using his x-ray vision, he saw that the cars hadn't fallen down.

He did have the speed to take everyone of the bridge before the bridge fell down but if he carried the cars with such acceleration, the ones inside would have become tomato paste.

And if he slowed down and accelerated in a fast speed but slow enough that they wouldn't be harmed, then the bridge would have collapse before he could save them all.

Then he looked towards where the Green Goblin was and saw that he was escaping on another glider.

So he used his Heat vision to stop him. But he had gone too far and was flying in a zigzag. The laser cut off the right arm and the right leg, but he escaped.

He held up the bridge, waiting for someone to help those on it. And it didn't take Ironman long before he arrived and used his mini robots to hold up the whole bridge.

Superman then flew up to see if the Goblin was still in the vicinity, but the only clues left were an arm and a leg.

'Norman Osborn!' Kevin. thought with a frown as he was in deep thought.

Iron Man got the rest done and saw that Superman was still flying, Looking a certain direction, so he flew up beside him.

"I didn't miss the party this time did I?"

"No, thank you for your help." Superman said as he landed near the policemen and journalists.

"Superman, we heard that a man in a green suit did this, was it hulk again?"

"Superman, did you fail in stopping the culprit?"

"Superman, how can we feel safe when the world is crawling with these super villains?"

"Superman! is the size of it as big as your muscles?"

"Superman are you really the strongest human on earth?"

The journalists bombarded him with questions but he had only one statement.

"No one died and I successfully saved all of them, with the help of Ironman. But unfortunately the villain, no, the terrorist escaped, but not unharmed.

People of New York, the terrorist lost his right arm and right leg. If you know someone that suddenly fits the description, then contact the authorities!"

Superman gave his statement as he flew away.

He had seen the Green Goblin's face but he wasn't sure if it was Norman, as he didn't know what Norman's face looked like.

Even if it was Norman, he can't just claim someone is a terrorist. Because if he simply lets the police apprehend Norman, then he probably has his ways to escape legal punishment.

If he had killed Norman in his terror act, that would have been fine, SHIELD would have shielded him.

He flew home, as usual at a speed that no one could catch.

After he reached his apartment, he changed his clothes and put on his glasses and walked out of his apartment. He took a cap to the nearest car shop.

'Even though flying is fine and all, I always wanted to drive cars in my past life as I physically couldn't." Kevin thought as he arrived. He found a salesman and looked through different cars.

He found a white, Toyota Sprinter Trueno 3door GT-APEX. It was an older car but he couldn't help finding it pleasing to the eye.

But in the end he chose a black Nissan Silvia K's (S13). Everyone knows that the black one is faster.

Pleased with the car he brought it. He could buy an expensive car but he really wanted to experience driving a car manually.

He didn't need the speed of newer cars as none of them could come close to his own walking pace.

He took his drive to the Reddot building where he works. He had to sign new papers, otherwise he does all his work from home.

Outside of the Reddot building were different cars, each with two people inside, waiting. Ever since C.K had made his debut, they had started to gather outside of the Reddot building to wait for C.K to reveal his face.

The longer they waited, the greater of an author CK become. And by now, he had shocked the literacy world to it's core. He released a bestseller after bestseller.

Each paparazzi company has created a working shift where two people are always in the vicinity of Reddot, simply to catch sight of CK.

Suddenly, they saw a black Nissan Silvia park outside of the reddot and out of it walked a handsome, tall young man with glasses.

"Can it be?" One of the paparazzi asked.
