107 To break the array.

"..."

The slash concaved as it released soul-tearing screeches; its power weakening like a lantern without oil. The barrier took this chance to reinforce its warping form with even more energy.

Its thickness doubled, and thus the chance of escaping halved and halved...

Su Min didn't even grumble as he glared at the mighty scene that would make cultivators gasp. Nothing he can do will change the outcome, but he was unwilling.

He was unwilling!

"No!"

His eyes shined with a chilling gleam as he looked around, all until his gaze locked on the space below him!

A strange light was swishing in his pupils, a light that would make cultivators shudder.

"Whoever is down there, let me out of this shit hole!!"

His ferocious roar blasted the entire void into a booming rumble, causing even the barrier to pause for a second. Though, it soon refocused on the dwindling slash that was fading at an alarming rate.

His voice reverberated without end as his cold stare remained below him. He didn't pay attention to the strange feeling he got when he woke up, but now that he has no other option, he might as well bet that it wasn't a fluke!

Why else would he get a feeling of being looked at? Even if it was a mere moment of a moment, something most would take as an illusion!

Yet, as his voice thundered, no reply bellowed. Only the cold screeches of his dying attack echoed, drowning him in the misery of annoyance.

'I'm not staying here any longer!'

It was beyond maddening to be trapped in a cage. He has so much to do, so much!

His mind seemed to snap as he grit his teeth and focused his sights back on the barrier.

"If you won't reply, then I'll make you!"

However, instead of reigniting his ancient self, his eyes began to dim!

His golden aura receded back into nothingness as the golden shine in his pupils lost its lustre! It seemed to then tremble, and as if it was frightened, the golden gleam in one of his pupils flew out!

Whenever Su Min activates his ancient bloodline to its fullest both his pupils will shine gold. It was just that one of his pupils are black, and the other gold.

Normally this isn't an issue and it will seem that he has a golden gaze, but something has been roused that caused that gleam to leave his left pupil completely.

"I may not be able to destroy this barrier, but I can fuck up your system!"

His black pupil seemed to tremble as a minute glare emerged from it. It was strange, as although it was black, it seemed to be shining...

A strange presence fluctuated out of his eye as a weak aura rose and replaced his ancient demeanour. Though, if it was any other power he would still seem ancient, but whatever this aura was, it didn't let anything else accompany it.

It was as if the ancient aura he held was dirt, dirt that should be thrown out!

"Ah... I haven't felt Martial Energy for a long time..."

Su Min breathed in with a relaxed pose as the aura around him formed. It was the aura of the first step Martial Condensation.

Everything was ordinary up to this point, yet as his aura was at its finalising step, a glint of grey appeared out of nowhere!

*CRACK*

A startling crack in space thundered out around Su Min as everything seemed to shudder!

*RUMBLE*

His aura got tinged in a slight grey while Su Min stood in the air. Yet, as this grey strung around Su Min, the barrier and the slash that was attacking it froze!

Space began to emit odd creaking sounds as haphazard cracks gnashed space at random spots in the void!

An absurd sense of indifference wafted out of Su Min's gaze as everything felt unbridled, instinctual fear.

Even his own attack!

"Uh..."

Su Min didn't know what to say as he glanced at the void that seemed to be shaking.

'Why is everything shaking? I don't even have the strength to kill an 9th step with this martial cultivation..."

He was perplexed, but he didn't stop it. He guessed that it has something to do with the odd grey strand that he used, but it didn't give him any sort of power.

Though he wasn't too sure whether he was seeing things right, as a massive glowing array was beneath him.

He couldn't see it with his ancient gaze, but it was crystal clear with this transformation.

'When I cultivated before, I had the same ability to see martial energy with an unreasonable level of accuracy... But this seems to be at a whole new level.'

Su Min's gaze studied the array as a strange feeling grew in his heart. He wasn't too sure himself, but this thing looked as easy as pie...

In fact, an unintentional murmur left his lips as he stared at its 'simple' features.

"Transportation array..."

"..."

"Wait, how on earth do I know that an array is?!"

Odd words kept coming out of nowhere in his mind as he looked at the array. What was odd was that the void had begun to calm down, the attack was no longer frozen and the barrier ignored his presence once more; they thus restarted the losing fight.

His indifferent atmosphere was still there, but whatever shocked the void was no longer. But Su Min didn't care about this.

"Mortal Grade 9 Array... What am I saying?!"

He got more and more disgruntled at the whole thing as random words kept leaving his mouth. However, as confused as he may be, he felt a rather disconcerting sense of understanding.

"I understand it..?"

He has never studied arrays in his life, so how on earth can he understand this?

"..."

He didn't move as he frowned whilst staring at the array. But, reminding himself of why he changed to his Martial Cultivation, a hair-raising grin creaked into place.

"I was only expecting myself to be able to see some sort of energy system, and if I messed with it it would rouse whoever owns this shit hole... But this is even better!"

He took a light step and appeared before the array, eyes glistening in black.

"If I am correct, then doing this should..."

He summoned his cultivation and the loop of grey in his 'body' shimmered. A single greyish strand emerged from nowhere and strung around his finger tip, acting like some sort of pen.

Su Min was a little hesitant to summon his cultivation, as the void seemed to hate his aura. But everything was fine as that strand remained unmoved to everything.

He breathed a sigh of relief as he went and poked a spot of the shimmering array. His movements looked simple, but if array masters were to see him, their eyeballs would pop out of their sockets!

"This is a lot easier than I expected..."

His finger penetrated the shimmering layers of light that shrouded the array like tofu, all the way until it landed on a single symbol. This symbol was a brush stroke of a character Su Min has never seen, yet he understood it...

"Reverse it."

He swished his finger and flipped the symbol around, then retracted his arm. Nothing seemed to change, but a smug expression was on Su Min's face.

"Hey, boss of this void!"

Visible anger reverberated from his voice as he took a light step on the array, picking a spot.

"Fuck you!"

A glaring pillar of light blitzed into existence and struck him. It took an instant for his body to haze into nothingness, disappearing from the void...

Yet, this seemed to not be the end of it as the array began to emit crackling sounds.

*BANG*

A startling explosion ruptured space itself as the array collapsed!
