"How did you achieve this result?" Asked the old man.
"Well, each attack from me facilitated the merging of the ingredients" said Li Yuan.
"But each one of the ingredients requires a different temperature to melt into a medical solution! So how...". Li Yuan interrupted the old man and said " If you want me to teach you my technique then give me all these ingredients". He gave the old man a list filled with ingredients which shocked him.
"What the.."
The list contained ingredients to make Condensed Qi Pills, the Muscles Strengthening Elixir and a Soul Enhancing Pill!
Condensed Qi Pill is Tier 1 Pills but the other two are no joke even for him. The Muscles Strengthening Elixir and the Soul Enhancing Pill are Tier 2 Alchemy products! He himself will need to fail multiple times in order to make just one set of each.
The Old Man looked at Li Yuan and heard a sentence than nearly made him vomit blood.
"By the way, I am quite free now so I want to take the Tier 2 Alchemist Test" said Li Yuan.
The Old Man calmed down and looked at Li Yuan with a complicated gaze.
"It seems that the eldest son of Li Rong wasn't wasting his time! I, Su Mo has made an error and judged you wrongly! I hope you can accept this apology!" Said Su Mo while bowing. After that, he left and brought the Ingredients for the Tier 2 Test. Li Yuan has become a Tier 1 alchemist now and have access to Tier 1 ingredients. If he passes the Tier 2 Test then Tier 2 ingredients will become available to him.
Su Mo wanted to see if Li Yuan could pass the Tier 2 test with the same method he did for the Tier 1 Test.
Li Yuan got the Ingredients and didn't disappoint Su Mo. Actually, he made him pass out from the new method he used.
He crushed the ingredients in his hands before putting them in the cauldron. Then, he used made the cauldron spin a few times before hitting more than 50 times. And the result was 6 Soul Enhancing Pills!
Su Mo felt that the world was turned upside down for him after seeing Li Yuan's bizarre methods of making pills.
Li Yuan took the Soul Enhancing Pills and said " Old Man, give me the token of Tier 2 Alchemist."
"By chance, do you want to take the Tied 3 Test?" Asked Su Mo.
"Well, I don't any Tier 3 Pills think that there is no Tier 3 Alchemist here, right?" Said Li Yuan.
Su Mo became speechless and wanted to give Li Yuan a beating. But he stopped as he is now a Tier 2 Alchemist like him.
"The Head Alchemist is a Tier 3 Alchemist but she is extremely busy now and hasn't come back to the association for three months" said Su Mo.
"I see... Since I became a Tier 2 Alchemist, you can bring those ingredients for me, right?" Said Li Yuan. Su Mo nodded and called the female attendant so she brings those ingredients.
"Also, I want to have this room for one day" said Li Yuan. Su Mo nodded and left the room. He wanted to recount what he saw to the Head Alchemist to see what she want to do.
Li Yuan looked at the ingredients and stretched his body before beginning his alchemy session.
He needed 7 Condensed Qi Pills, 5 Muscules Strengthening Elixir to make to reach the Peak of Body Tempering Realm in one full sweep. Then, he will make 15 Soul Enhancing Pills in order to reach the 10th Level.
Soul Cultivation doesn't have realms like Qi and Body Cultivation. It has 100 levels and each level represent a stage of Qi cultivation.
So a soul cultivator at the 10th level means that his soul strength could allow him to fight against a 10th Stage Body Tempering Realm Cultivator.
Li Yuan wanted to reach the Peak in each path due to the habit of always being perfect. So, he started to make the pills and elixirs without stopping.
After one day, he sat on the ground and looked at the pills and Elixirs stored in bottles in front of him while nodding in satisfaction.
"When I reach the Qi Gathering Realm, I can make Tier 3 Pills without a problem. But for now, I should be satisfied with what I got" said Li Yuan. For Tier 3 Pills, he can make them, but it quite tricky and will take too long for the current him. So, he refrained from doing so and stick to Tier 2 Pills and Elixirs.
He grabbed the bottle filled with the Muscles Strengthening Elixir and drank them in quick succession. While the Muscles Strengthening Elixir was improving his body, Li Yuan started to ate the Condensed Qi Pill to make his cultivation reach the Peak of Body Tempering Realm. He didn't have any problem as he separated his consciousness to multi-task.
His Qi Cultivation surged and reached the 10th stage in no time. His body became so strong that a 10th Stage Body Tempering Realm cultivator could not harm him.
He opened his eyes after 3 hours and sighed because he was too slow. If someone knows what he was thinking, he will die from anger. Thankfully, no one will know.
Li Yuan stood up and took the bottle containing the Soul Enhancing Pills before leaving the Association. He went to the Li Clan to take what he needs and leave a cloud city and head to the capital.
When he reached the Li Clan, he was greeted by his angry mother. When Xiao Yin saw Li Yuan, she released a barrage of curses at him because she thought he left without speaking to her. She grabbed his ear and twisted it.
Li Yuan's lips twitched slightly and kept silent. He had more than 70 parents from different lives. So, he became emotionally numb for the word family and clan.
Xiao Yin and Li Rong were his 78th parents and for him, he didn't care much at the beginning. But, Xiao Yin was the mother who showed most love to him which softened his heart. She made him wonder how could she achieve such a thing for a person who lived 100 lives.
"Mom, I know my mistake so have some Mercy!" Said Li Yuan.
Xiao Yin nodded and looked at Li Yuan for a few seconds before freezing. She didn't notice that he reached the 10th Stage of Body Tempering and got a huge shock when she noticed the anomaly.
"Yuan'er, you...".
"Didn't father tell you that I experienced enlightenment? Well, my cultivation didn't stop improving and continued to surge until it reached the 10th Stage of Body Tempering Realm" said Li Yuan.
Xiao Yin's eyes moistened and hugged him.
"I knew that you can achieve greatness once you put your mind in cultivation!" Xiao Yin sobbed while tightly hugging Li Yuan.
"What the fuck?!" Li Rong came to see Xiao Yin and when he saw Li Yuan's cultivation he nearly vomited blood. He was happy that his son begins cultivating but when he saw that he reached the peak of Body Tempering Realm in the span of two days, he felt that Li Yuan delt a heavy blow to his pride as a talented cultivator from Cloud City.
"Father, mom, I will leave the clan and head to the capital in order to cultivate." Said Li Yifeng.
Xiao Yin nodded and said " I will allow it if you follow my instructions. One, don't trust strangers. Two, be careful and don't antagonise people from any sect..." She continued to advice Li Yuan which in turn caused his lips to twitch. Still, he kept silent and listen to her.
"Do you understand?" Asked Xiao Yin after finishing her long lecture.
"Yes, mom" said Li Yuan.
"Good! Now come with me so I help you pack your things" said Xiao Yin. Li Rong smiled and before he could chase the two, a voice echoed outside the place.
"I am the Head Alchemist of Cloud City's Alchemist Association branch. I came here to meet Li Yuan. Li Rong was scared shitless by the voice as it was filled with strength that he couldn't even match.
"Why the Head Alchemist wants to meet Yuan'er?! Did he do something wrong?" Thought Li Rong. Of course, Li Yuan heard the voice and came out with Xiao Yin to meet this Head Alchemist. Li Rong followed him and asked " Yuan'er, what did you do?".
"Nothing, I just passed the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Alchemist Test" said Li Yuan nonchalantly. Li Rong froze like a statue and dumbly stared at his son. He felt that he didn't know his son very well.
