Mayor

I am Stella. I was came from a poor family but we still happy and contented for what we are, I was studied at Geoul University. The prestigious University that I was enrolled is a private school so the students as usual their are rich and powerful at the same time a brat. I was scholar of our Mayor and I'm thankful for giving me a privilege to study in one of the famous school in our town.

I am a Scholar of our Mayor because he once tried to court me. He just stop because of his position and specially he was a married man, and that was the reason why he's wife always visit us just to embarrass me and spreading a humor that I am a slut, whore, a call girl and etc, just to insult me.

But the truth is our Mayor the one who initiate because in the first place I always ignore him when he gave me a stuff and do something just to please me so our neighbors spreading gossip about me.

It feels good to know my family is always there for me and they are the source of my courage. I just don't mind those falsely allegation and fake news spreading.

My Papa always telling me "Stella just ignore them because the important is you already know the truth and let them what they want to say trust me one day they will get tired"

"Yes Pa" I answered. But my Mama has a opposite perception. "Hulio you are being too kind, are you having plan to apply be a saint? if it is fine with you sorry to say but for me is not ok, yes we are poor but I never let them to blemish the personality of our child they being too much to Stella, we are the one who raise her so we are the one who really know her those falsely allegation spreading in our barrio I never sit here and let them accuse our child those asurb" she turn his back to my Papa.

My Papa stand up from his sitting and hug my Mama from her back. "That's what I pointing out love, we are the who know her because we are her parents and who raise Stella what like you said earlier so let them what they want to say they will get tired soon" my Papa explained in gentle way to ease being annoyed.

"Awww!! Mama is just softening up" my elder brother Oliver said. "Mama just want to kiss and hug Papa" my elder sister Maxine said. "Don't make me unified" the three of just laughed because while Mama was saying that, she obviously admired Papa every time he showed that Papa love her very much, even with just a simple gesture.

I forgot my problem every time I'm with my family but there is nothing change the fact that I am a person who engages in sexual intercourse in exchange for pay. The worst my family doesn't even know that I was get bullied in my school but its better that way because I know in the end they are the one who will be affected the most and I don't want it to happen.

If you are wondering thou why that issue spreading all over in town because of the wife of our Mayor the who started it and the fact that I'm working in the bar as a waitress.

Before Actually my life was at peace because no one know about my job only my my family who knows about it. I just working in the bar as a waitress serving a drinks and food I'm not a call girl or prostitute they just misinterpret. I need to work to support my schooling and to help my parents too because my parents incompetent to provide everything we need because my father is just a construction worker and my Mother is a housekeeping, before the incident happen because my Mama end up arguing to defend me I feel guilt because of me my Mama lost her job but she said its ok to lost her job rather to let them to disrespect me.

Why am I an issue because when the Mayor's wife rushed here and she immediately named me a paid woman at the bar, and she said when I saw her husband, the Mayor, I immediately came because I knew she said the mayor had money and position in government and in that case we allegedly checked in at the motel and slept with elderly just to make money.

Of course they will believe the wife of Mayor because she has a power and money compare to me I just came from poor family. And I believe money can people sing and dance. If money can run the world how about us suffering rigor of life were not have space here in World?

The truth is because I really work in the bar as a waitress but I don't let them to take me home. Yes, there are a lot of men I can't persist once I will be touched, is not because I accept that I will end up here. I have just become accustomed to being touch because this is really the trend here we are not allowed to act a and I met Mayor at the bar they have a celebration of his friends, it just happened that I was the one who served them, and since then he has been going to the bar where I work and he always request that I serve him and that's when he started sending me a stuff.

He just aborted when they often gossip about us and besides mayor was ashamed to me about her wife going to our house frequently just to embarrass me and my family that's why Mayor visit me, us to apologize what his wife done, as indemnity he will take the whole responsibility for my schooling and he wants me to enrolled to the one of famous university in our town so I already accept the opportunity specially it will huge help to my family because it lessen of our payments.

It was a huge help when Mayor will take the whole responsibility for my schooling, even my allowance monthly because my elder brother was force to stop from his schooling for 2 years Because were not afford to continue his study so until now he was still in 2nd year college.

That's why I become a scholar and went to a private school.
