Slaughter

3rd Person POV

In a cramped office room, sat 9 men. The room was a cream colored and a small window to it's left which is covered completely with a soft, pink colored curtains. It also contained one couch and a moderately sized, soft-yellow polished Hazelwood table with two dark chairs behind. On one of the chairs sat a middle-aged man with a large moustache and a goatee style beard. He wore a traditional, Chinese gown and had a Shortsword in a sheath strapped to his waist. He had green, slit-like eyes and his face looked very similar to a snake's.

Beside him sat another middle-aged man with a similar type of beard, hairstyle, clothing and face. He only had a few extra wrinkles over his forehead and held a large guandao of sort, the tip of which rested on his chest.

Other than him, there were 6 more guards standing attentively on both sides of the table, holding their spears and swords, ready to strike at a moment's notice. And at last, there sat one man in the couch, alone.

He was Valac Vorshevsky. A man of tall and lean stature with a long, blonde, flowing hair which is tied in a beautiful ponytail. He wore a noble suit with a white velvet vest tied by golden strings. His long, white pants and vest made him a complete man-in-white and he sat on the couch with both his hands in its pocket. His face was an epitome of handsomeness with large, deep blue eyes, a pale, milky white skin and lean, straight blonde eyebrows. His thin, small nose and rosy lips gave him a feminine flavor. He also had a light, blonde short boxed beard which he scrubbed occasionally.

"So, you're Valac Vorshevsky. The person who bought the Chupacabra winery right under our nose." Says Zhou Wei, the leader of the Zhou company.

Beside him sat his second younger brother, Zhou Liu carrying the guandao, silently.

Vorshevsky smiled at Zhou Wei and replied, "Yes, I am. Pleased to be of your acquaintance, Sir Zhou."

"Hmm… and do tell me, Mr. Valac, for what reason did you buy the Chupacabra winery? Did Mr. Wu Li not tell you of our arrangement?"

"Well, the reason why I wanted to buy Chupacabra is … frankly, I do not have any." He bit his lips in an apologetical, yet sarcastic and prideful manner, "As for Mister … Wu Lin, he definitely didn't tell me anything about your arrangement."

"Really? That's unlikely of Mr. Wu Lin after all, we had such a nice connection." He smiles in a meaningful manner but all that went into Vorshevsky's head was BL. Gross!

He made a disgusting face and replied, "You had a … connection?"

"Ahem! Mr. Valac, I'm a religious man." He corrected himself but Vorshevsky retorted immediately, rolling his eyes, "Every man engaged in Black Market says that BS."

"Mr. Vorshevsky, please return back to topic. Tell me, Mr. Vorshevsky, do you want to … perhaps, resell the winery back to us?" he asked in a polite tone.

"For what price?" Vorshevsky ask. "100 Golds."

"What?!!!" he made a disgusting face and yelled in a shocked and insulted tone, "You are kidding me, right!? It is a 3 Golds daily business and you're tell me that you want to buy it for a month's pay? You think I will die in a month or what??!!"

"You might." He also replied in a sarcastic manner, "You should know that this price is a whole 50% greater than what we offered to Mr. Wu Lin."

"Uh-huh!" suddenly, Vorshevsky relaxed back in his couch and spread his arms wide, as if what he told before was only a ghost of him. "No wonder Mr. Wu Lin cussed at you so much before dying."

"Pardon?"

"Well, you gave me a lot of 'you-should-knows' today and I thought that I should give you one too.

So, Mr. Zhou, you should know that I …" he clasped his gloved hands to him and said, "am a great torturer. I wouldn't call myself at a level of a sadist but I'm definitely someone who likes to torture. And, you should also know that Mr. Wu Lin, the person who had such a good connection with, died miserably. Oooh!! Very miserably." he bit his lips, grinning evilly.

"… are you trying to provoke me, kid?" he asked, coldness brimming under his eye lids but it didn't shake Vorshevsky at all. He smiled profoundly and replied, "Am I?"

Vorshevsky smiled and said, "Look, fellas. All I'm trying to do is settle it peacefully. I'm no violence guy but …" he smiled provocatively and bit his lips, lustfully, "As for the Chupacabra, let's say, I have a special interest in wines and Chupacabra hit me in the right spot. So, I bought it. I've a tendency of doing that and I don't regret it."

"You should." Replied Zhou Liu.

"Really?" he said and stood up. "I don't think so."

"Look, Mr. Vorshevsky, this is not your playground. This is the playground of the players of Valshade City and rowdy outside players are … well, mistreated if they don't play by the rules." Said Zhou Wei.

"And what would those rules say?" Vorshevsky asked in a queer tone, while he made his way towards the door. Zhou Wei looked confused and even a little angry but he still kept going with his professional tone.

"Like, stealing stuffs under one's noses. Talking crap in one's office and definitely not paying attention. Also, if you leave this room, Sir, we will not be able to guarantee your safety in any way."

"Why would I leave this room?" he said in a funny tone.

"What?!! Then why are opening the door." Asked Zhou Liu, feeling extremely puzzled. He had stood up in alarm and was clutching his guandao tightly, ready for a fight. But Vorshevsky smiled broadly, from ear to ear in a very evil manner.

Creaaaaaaaaaakkkk….

He closed the door lightly, making a very creaky noise which shook all the people in the room and said, "I'm not leaving this room."

Blip! Blip! Bli-blip!!

All of a sudden, the magical lamps start flickering strongly, shocking everyone. Zhou Wei and Zhou Liu looked shocked and both sprung up from their seats.

"Wh-what the hell's happening?!!!" the guards cried, shocked, white misty breaths escaping their mouths.

"I-its get-getting colder!! Why!!!"

"The room heater is on, right?"

"Hey, What the hell are you doing?!!"

Cries rung around the room but Vorshevsky stayed quiet, a deathly silence surrounded him as a faint, blue pallor spread from his back like wings of an ancient demonic beast. Everything in the room started to freeze and the men were getting frostbitten and as for Vorshevsky, a thin ice film spread over his vest and shirt but he didn't flinch a bit. He stayed perfectly calm. The hinges of the door froze and stuck, locking the room completely.

"Ha… even metal can't compete with the strength of the natural elements, isn't it, Mr. Zhou?"

Vorshevsky turned back slowly and showed his true face to them, a face more handsome than the previous but with a gnashing cut running right across his face. The two deep blue eyes slowly changed color into a deeper version, changing from blue to black and then to red. Bright, crimson red. Deathly red. His skin turned more and more transparent until it got an ice like transparency and whiteness.

"N-no! It can't be!! Theo Aldric Merci! Y-you should be dead!!"

Theo didn't reply, just stood there as still as a corpse. A long, eerie smile spread over his face.

Blip! Blip! Blip-blip! Blop!!!

With a final strange blip, the magical lamp went out, engulfing the room in absolute darkness and throwing the whole room in chaos.

"GET THE LIGHTS ONNNN!!!"

"NOO!!"

"AAHH—"

PUCHI! PUCHI! PUCHI!

"DEMON—"

CRACK! BANG!

"CAUGHT YOU SON OF A—"

"YEAAAAAA!!!!"

SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!!!

BANG! THUG! THUG! THUG! THUG!!!

BAM! SHIIIIIING!!

PUCHI!!!

"DIE!!"

"NOOOOOOOO!!!!"

PASCH! PASCH! PASCH! PASCH! PASCH!

The lights turned on after a good three minutes, restoring order in the room. The room which was so beautifully decorated once, now gave off a sensation of disaster and devastation. The cream-colored walls had lost all of their colors and a thin pallor of icy mist and water vapor dotted the walls and decorated it by countless bestial five-finger claw marks. The table was broken into pieces and on it laid three of the guards, irregularly placed, their head twisted in odd angles, their bodies frostbitten and five deep holes in each of their torso. Two other guards were scattered around in a ghastly manner. Half of their limbs were torn or sliced up and their heads severed.

Zhou Wei, the head of the Zhou family was lying at the corner of the room, scrambled like a ball, clutching his abdomen which has a deep hole, at least a hand wide.

"Cough… cough…"

He coughed up a few pints of blood and desperately tried to stop the gushing of his blood from the wide hole but nothing helped him.

"How did you …" he muttered weakly but it still was heard clearly by Theo, or Jed. The current Jed didn't look humane at all. He looked very close to either a demon or a badly pissed ghost. His eyes were glowing red and a crooked smile crept on his face. His body was badly wounded with a dozen slash marks from swords, gaping wide wounds but not a single drop of blood dropped from there. It only showed a deep red under the pure white skin. He also had lost his right arm but he didn't seem pained at all. As for his left hand, it was a Demonic hand, almost half a man wide with five frozen-ice fingers, shaped like a beast's claw. It was this claw which slashed and punctured those other guards to death.

Along with that, there was a man, whose throat was clutched between the frosty fingers of the left hand. A young man of twenty, his eyes nearly lifeless and his facial features almost similar to the Zhou brothers. A large jaw of hundred crooked, sharp teeth grinned at the boy and said in a gruffy, inhumanely tone, "To think that you would be mid ranked Foundation Stage expert. Unexpected but I liked it. You're talented, boy but today was your unlucky day. I'm sorry" he grinned a little more and was about to snap his neck when a squeaky tone broke from behind his back.

"Wait!!"

"Hmmm?!"

Jed turned back and found Pef and Moose standing majestically near the door. They looked a little angry and a holy, bright light shined behind their back as if proclaiming that they were higher beings.

"You guys are late?!" Jed replied in a slightly agitated tone. "I thought you guys were supposed to help me take that guy down." he pointed at Zhou Liu, who lied near the other corner of the room, his head completely bashed into smithereens and brain matter spread all over the place.

"Oooh! That's some hard sh*t!" Moose commented, reverting back to his usual demeanor, "Save-able, right." He asked Pef who weakly nodded his head. "Why do we need to save him?" asked Jed, a little more agitated.

"For the research, bro. Did you forget about it already?"

"Nah! I did not. But I saved this guy for you, you know." Jed replied in a childish tone.

"Save him. Even that Zhou Wei guy, after all, the more the merrier." Moose said, grinning.

"And where are we going to store them? In doraemon's pouch?"

"No, but we have a place." Pef replied in a matter-of-fact tone. He lightly tapped the forehead of Zhou Liu and a small Magic Circle appeared under his paw, a Magic Circle with two bright wing diagrams of sorts.

Psssssssssssttt!!!

The head of the Zhou brother visibly healed, the brain matter from around started gathering and collecting at where his brain should've been and forming a new head. After a few moments, the head was all formed, not completely anew but with a lot of bruises.

"Ughhhhhhh…" almost immediately the man gave off a faint whisper before passing out. "Good!" muttered Pef.

He then towards Jed and said, "Now, him."

Jed made a disgusted face and gave the man a last glance before throwing him away like a toy. "Fine!!" he grumbled.

"Dude, be a little careful with the goods." Moose jumps up but Jed shrugs his only shoulder and mutters. "Safety purpose!!"

"Yea?! After you broke all four of his limbs, you're worried about safety? C'mon!" he chides Jed a little severely. Jed pouts a little before catching the glimpse of his severed off arm. He picks it up and sighed to himself. "A single blow from a late Foundation Stage completely destroyed my fleshy defenses and the Revenant's Resistances. Damnit!!"

"What did you expect? A late is far more powerful than an early like you! You got off lucky! But don't worry, we can fix that thing for you! We found a treasury below, you know!!"

"More of a reason for you guys to come quickly, you know."

"We were stuck!! That son of a b*tch Duyi betrayed us!! But don't worry, we've taken care of that part. We will be seeing each other more often. Huhuhuhu!!!!"

"Good!" Jed smiled through his thousand jagged teeth. He then turns to Zhou Wei and his smile gets broader. He neared him slowly, taking one step at a time.

Zhou Wei saw him closing in on him and even though his heart beat furiously and his mind instructed him to run or scramble back, but he couldn't. There was a wall behind and a gaping hole in his belly!

"Let's have some quality time together, Mr. Zhou. Just you and me, in a torture room. Shall we?!!!"
