1 Chapter 1:

I came flying at the metal door. I punch and kick it. The loud banging I created was ringing loudly in my ears. I was screaming bloody murder in here. I landed a good punch. I made a good dent. I kept punching until my knuckles were bloody.

I walk off and began to walk around in circles. I kept saying profanities the entire time. I look around. I see the dresser. I walk over to it. I pick it up with ease and throw it at the metal door. It dents and shatters the dresser. I then began to hear it.

The screams and the fire. I cover my ears. It started faint. It grew louder and louder. I could feel the fire burning me again. I scream. I was not able to hear the door open. I was then tackled to the hard floor. I fight back with everything I got. I felt three pairs of hands pressing me down on the floor. Three more hands holding down each arm and leg.

I felt something cold press sharply into my skin. Something flood inside me. It helped the burning. It began to slowly go away. I felt a rubber hand wipe away my tears. I still struggled against them. They released me. I watch as they all leave. Only one stayed in. He had strawberry blonde hair and honey eyes. He had a small scar on his left cheek. He said, "How are you feeling?"

I get up slowly. I began to shake wildly. He looked at me with pain in his eyes. I steady myself in a crouch. I said in a hoarse voice, "What do you want."

He sighs and said, "When will you get rid if that tone with me?"

I snapped back, "When you all leave me alone."

He sighs and said, "Well, I have some good news."

I glare at him. He said, "You will be entered into a survival camp."

I narrow my eyes at him.I said, "Do not tempt me with freedom unless you want me to hurt you."

He raised his hands up in defeat and said, "I swear. I am not joking with you."

I said, "And why exactly is this happening?"

He said, "I am not allowed to say. But you will be enrolled into a school so you can do the camp. We have your bag packed and will be bringing someone along with you."

I roll my eyes. I said, "I have no other choice do I?"

He shakes his head no. I said, "Fine. When do I leave his shithole."

He smiled and said, "Right now."

He grabs my hand. I struggle against his grip. I clench my fist and slam it against the crease of his elbow. He releases my hand with hiss in pain. He then kept walking. I follow him. I have made it this far. I should follow for now. Escape when the change is good.

We make it outside. There was a large bus there. I narrow my eyes at him. He said, "Go on the bus."

I step towards the bus. The door opens. I walk up the stairs. Every seat up in the front was taken. I make my way to the back. I sit beside a blonde haired boy. I was right beside the bathrooms. The boy looks at me and said, "Hello. Who are you?"

I turn my head sharply. I narrow my eyes. I knew the name they registered me in. I said, "Jynx."

That name gives me a foul taste in my mouth. I shake my head as the memories try to sneak back inside. He looked at me confused. He said, "I am Lawson."

A boy across from me said, "Shut up Lawson. Damn,you are so annoying."

Lawson rolls his eyes. Lawson looks at me and said, "Please excuse him. He never got enough attention as a kid."

I could hear the tone in his voice. I knew he was joking in a mean way. I said, "Whatever. How long are we going to be on this stupid thing?"

Lawson said, "About 3 hours."

Holy fuck! I am not going to be able to last that unless I sleep. And I am not going to he able to do that. I groan and said. "Fuck."

Lawson looked at me confused and said, "What is wrong?"

I said, "Nothing you should worry about. It has nothing to concern with you."

The bus took a sharp turn and I stilled my body. Lawson swayed. I then heard the bus driver say over the speaker, "Is there a Jynx on the bus?"

I pipe up, "Yeah. Right here."

A girl then stands up. She scanned the bus. She sees my hair and instantly makes her way towards me. She had black hair. Asian. I watch her. She stops in front of me. She said, "I have your medicine to help you sleep."

I smirk and said, "No can do. I got a different dose before I got on this bus. Unless you want something to happen. I would not advise it. And I thought all females quit."

She sighs and said, "How long until you dose?"

I tap my soft lips. I said, "About 8 hours."

Her eyes widen. She said, "Why so long?!"

I said, "Stronger dose. Still shaking if you do not believe me."

I hold out my hand and she watches as it shakes violently. She sighs and said, "I will give it to you when you settle down then."

I said, "Why you still here?"

She sighs and said, "No other job I can do."

I said, "The rumors are true."

She looked at me with horror and concern. I smirk at her reaction She goes and sits back down at the front. Lawson said, "What was that about? And what rumors?"

I look at him sharply and said, "That was about a 'medicine'. And those rumors you ask. You sure you want to hear them? I mean. I would hate to corrupt someone. Well, not really."

He looked slightly horrified. The boy across from me snickered. I turn to him sharply and said, "Something funny to you?"

He looks at me and said, "Nothing of your concern princess."
