I only desired for an object...

Is this where I last met the owner? Is this where I last met for my request?

I am Flint. I live in a place, and I can't tell you where. I can't because I am not clear about it myself. If it was, perhaps you, or any other, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have known the address or the street number at least. I can't even tell that. Unlike many, I accepted my fate. I didn't want to continue struggling towards something that could not be changed.

Last night, I placed an order for a specific mannequin. Yes, I very much remember that I mentioned OBJECT! How could that shopkeeper have misheard me!? I was clear enough. I only wanted an object, nothing more, nothing less—a simple mannequin for a drama I was planning to host tonight. Close to everyone living in the surroundings were going to visit. Many couldn't sit still and be dying out of boredom. Their faces were enlightened hearing about the drama I was hosting tonight.

Let me tell you something. Something I do not know the cause of.

When I placed the order last night, I was in a hurry. I didn't want anyone to go against me at that moment. It was, indeed, an agitated moment. I told the shopkeeper that I wanted the mannequin as soon as possible. I said that with a lot of importance to it. I know it is very late notice for a mannequin of your desire to be made in. I apologized for that too.

However, after I finished my sentence of importance, the shopkeeper spoke nothing. Perhaps he was stunned by that late notice for a mannequin to be created. But soon enough, that thought was denied considering his calm and confident posture and expression that conveyed no emotion. I was starting to get frightened. That man seemed like he would do anything at any moment then. I took a cautious step back. With a frightened face, the shopkeeper sounded like he was saying something but not that clear nor that audible for someone at my distance to understand.

He then spoke louder, "There is this one mannequin that perfectly suits your description. It is a mannequin made out of solid material. The details are identical to your description. The best is made here. However, it is lying in the basement and has been abandoned since the last request for it. "Haha... It's terrifying, isn't it?".

He said the last part with a smile. That spooked me out the most. Of course, what he said lacked information, although it didn't lack emotion to it. He was frightened to the bone, and so was I. We then spent a few minutes staring at each other. He was staring at me with horror, and I was staring at him with fright. Although how terrifying all that was, I needed the mannequin as soon as possible. The thought that he mentioned that it was the best made there, I knew I had to get it. I apologized again for the late notice, and just for safety, I wanted to verify whether it is an object or not. He froze when I asked the question and didn't say a name. I thoughtfully changed my question into an order and left, taking the mannequin along.
