4 the reunion

as ryan and the sect master were conversing with each other suddenly ryan sense a change in the psyonic fluctuation in the atmosphere near the sect village , he immediately teleported outside to see what looked like a wooden sea ship but it was floating in air, ryan channeled a small amount of psyonic energy to his eyes to see numerous intricate patterns which allowed the ship to stay afloat using psyonic energy from the atmosphere, he was really facinated by the way in which these people had based everything around psyonic energy, even though it he could sense that the highest speed it could achieve is 300 kmph which was nothing compared to the cruising speed of a commercial jet which was around 885 kmph but the advantage it had over modern planes was that it did not need any king of refueling because it constantly used the psyonic energy in the atmosphere,

he watched as a group of people came down from the ship and slowly floated down, he found all these people who looked no older than 16 years old were at the saint realm, he had learned to read the fluctuations of psyons near these so called cultivators last night when he secretly went around the village checking the fluctuations and referencing them with what was written in the books,

while he was observing the group of kids he suddenly paused and looked towards a beautiful girl with deep black hair and cerulean blue eyes , after looking at her closely he was completely stunned.

"yue , is that you??" he mumbled to himself as slowly tears gathered in his eyes, long forgotten memories came to life, of a little girl no more than 5 years old , following him everywhere calling him big brother,

immediately ryan teleported to the girl and caught her in a strong embrace , the girl was first surprised and then started to struggle to free herself from him, immediately a handsome man who was with the girl started using his sword to try attacking ryan, but before he could do that everyone in the range of 100 km radius felt a mysterious wave of energy going outward from ryan, immediately all the people in the radius lost their access to their qi , no matter what they tried it simply would not respond as if it were never there in the first place, this terrified everyone , especially the girl because she was afraid ofwhat this stranger was going to do to her, before she could take any action , ryan suddenly let go of her and started to look around himself with a cold gaze which then landed on the young man who attacked him, he slowly raised his hand readying his power to erase his soul from existence but immediately stopped as he saw the girl who he called yue stand in front of him blocking the young man with her body,

"If you want to harm him, you will have to kill me first!!" she said in a trembling voice, ryan teleported back to his room and immediately all the people were able to use their qi again, the girl then broke down crying because of the scare she went through while the man hugged her to support her. the sect master was first enraged when ryan had hugged his daughter but soon grew terrified at what he was capable of, he then became confused as to why he abruptly left the village and went back to his room.

ryan was right now a complete mess, memories that he thought had lost in his 10 years of experimentation came back flooding his mind, before he was an esper, a weapon used by his country, he was an orphan boy who lived on the streets, when he was 8 years old , he came across another orphan girl of around 5 years of age , she would follow him everywhere and call him big brother, she said that her name was yue , he used to pickpocket or steal some food for the both of them ,she was his only light in his dark days, when he was 10 years old a group of people came into the alley they lived in searching for the girl , turns out that she was the child of a well known business man who had died with his wife in an accident , a girl claiming to be the cousin of yue came to take her back home where she would be well clothed and have good food and education ,she refused to go with them but ryan forced her to go because he knew that she would be in constant danger if she were to stay in the slums, he had naively trusted these unknown people to take care of the only source of light in his life, a few years after he joined gungnir and his powers had developed to his current level a now 15 year old ryan headed towards the girl who he thought of as his own blood sister, before he parted ways with her he had somehow partially activated his powers and left a imprint on her soul so that if he were closeby he would immediately recognize her ,

when he searched for the house of the kane family, the birth faminly of his sister , he found the adress at the remote islands off the shore of japan, he headed there and found the so called cousin of his sister ,but what he found there made him despair , he found that this cousin had tricked yue into signing over all of her property to herself and then killed her , then she made it look like an accident by putting her body on a boat and having the boats gas pipes leak methane , then she used a timed to ignite a small spark which detonated the boat.

in his rage ryan destroyed the island , and erased the girls soul from existence he then found all of her accomplices she had in the government who had helped her , he then killed them all in the most horrendous way possible, after the incident ryan became a cold and detached man for the next 5 years he would ruthlessly kill anyone who was assigned as his target , but slowly he grew tired of the killing , of the organization ordering him around , so he left it and then came to the current situation,

but the reason why he had such problem controlling his emotions was not because how the girl he saw was an exact copy of yue if she was given the chance to grow up, no , the reason was that he could immediately sense the soul imprint on the girls , it was the same imprint he had given yue before they separated all those years ago,

"yue , is it really you, or is it another trick the universe is playing to torment me??" he mumbled to himself.
