20 Raid

Jimmy led the group of succubi towards the Drinker's Shack, where Dimebag Drummond was busy going through a drinking contest. Beside him were two other mercenaries watching by his side, one was a bandanna wearing man named Rowe, the other was a medium size man with red hair, slightly bigger than Jimmy. The medium sized man was known as 'Whiskey'

Belva looked at him in an odd manner.

"I ain't one to share my actual name." Whiskey admitted.

"At least you're honest." Belva replied. "Haven't seen you before." she did remember seeing Rowe with Dimebag carrying another man to a doctor back at the cottages where Jimmy packed up his things.

"Whiskey here's been gathering up some horses before we go to Werth." Rowe spoke. "Other than Dimebag wanting some more action, I figured we could trade with the couple of items that we garnered during our time at Ulvania months ago. Lemme tell ya, it wasn't easy getting them here."

"I'm assuming your the ladies that will join us over to Werth." Rowe spoke, folding his arms as he examined each of the succubi in their human disguises, before he looked at Jimmy. "Don't know how, but damn, a lot of men would kill to be in your position."

Most likely, Jimmy thought as he looked behind him to see several patrons looking at the succubi within their human forms. Even though their human forms mostly involved closed up on their chests and thighs, it didn't stop them from admiring the succubi's faces and posture.

"Finally done!" Dimebag said as he turned around, finishing up his drink after his opponent had his face down on the bar counter. "Ah Jimmy, there you are, and you brought your harem as well."

"I-" Jimmy bluttered out, but stopped himself. "Yeah." he said as he wrapped his arm around Zaniva, who smiled and closed her eyes, following his move of keeping their cover.

Sillis pouted at the sight of the couple, to which Jimmy said. "Not my fault she and I are engaged."

"Let's hope your fiance is okay with all of this." Dimebag spoke with an assuring tone. "Women can particularly dangerous when it comes to other women entering their lives especially if a man is involved."

"I am open minded of course." Zaniva spoke, again lying for her and the other succubi's cover. Humans can be such naive creatures. She looked at Jimmy with a gaze, just wait until you see our true forms, my true form in particular, she thought.

The horse that Zaniva and the other succubi had "convinced" the farmer from the cottage area was combined with two black strong black stallions full of vigor. Compared to normal horses, they seemed much more bulkier in build, as well as their veins showing throughout their equally sturdy legs.

The three horses were attached to a longer and wider wagon, the kind people get by places. It wasn't a magnificent carriage, but the succubi could care less. They had been used to this Earth long before they met Jimmy, long before this conflict started. They had been to taverns of its various kinds, bars, noble houses, you name it, they've been there, although remembering places wasn't their forte by any means.

For them, human souls were more important, or for seducers like succubi and incubi, energy.

These ladies probably have gotten more energy from men as opposed to magical energy, Jimmy thought as he saw how composed the succubi were in their disguises. He was sat in the wagon with them, with a large faded white cloth providing him and the other occupants protection

The wagon came to an immediate halt, as Jimmy and the rest of the occupants felt a small push, a force nearly causing them to jump out from their seats.

"You insects again!" Dimebag said with a seemingly proud but also upset tone.

"Surrender what's inside the wagon. It's just the two of you, you're outnumbered."

"Dammit. Probably damn thieves trying to make a dime."

"You think they're from the Jarrow thieves guild?" Belva asked to Jimmy, who shook his head.

"Not likely." he replied. "It's not like Kaylan's friends actually know."

"Jim, right?" Rowe asked to Jimmy who gave nod. "Think you can take care of yourself in a fight?"

"This count?" Jimmy pulled up his shiv.

"Yeah, that counts." Rowe replied. That's still a tiny shiv though, he thought.

"We can assist in this, Mr. Rowe." Zaniva assured. "We're not just simply maidens relying on others for our protection."

"We can take on a couple of fiends." Velyn spoke in the same tone as Zaniva.

"Alright then, but don't blame me if you ladies get dirt or even blood on your dresses." Rowe jokingly remarked, with Belva rolling her eyes.

"There's nothing much in there." Whiskey tried to reason with the people outside of the wagon.

"Quiet!" another voice called out, slightly higher than the first voice. "Check the contents of the wagon."

The group in the back heard footsteps approaching them. Jimmy pulled up his shiv, synchronizing himself with Rowe bringing up his straight edged sword. The latter saw the succubis' hand glowing in various colors, such as purple for Belva, and white for Zaniva.

"I ain't one for magic." Rowe whispered. "You'll never know if it'll mess with your head."

"Jimmy." Zaniva's voice emerged in Jimmy's own head. "This is the perfect opportunity for you to power up your abilities."

Jimmy looked at her with an odd look.

"The less you use them, the more you will lack the skill and knowledge about your abilities. Besides, how long has it been since you learned at that School of Cerrit? Didn't you not say that there's possibly even more to awaken?"

"Besides, remember our cover. It's unlikely people may instantly recognize you as a Cerrit the moment they see your snake eyes for instance."

Jimmy sighed, as he turned to the back of the wagon to see the white thread covering the top of the wagon open. He saw the sight of gruff young men with messy hair, with equally worn out clothes but also decorated with light armor made out of raw hide and aluminium.

Jimmy gritted his teeth as he saw the sight of one of the raiders, and he allowed his fist to meet with the raider's face.
