1 Run

Kody starts getting breathless as she runs through what seems to be a maze. Footsteps echoing along the endless paths, and its not just hers. She turns left and meets a dead end. She started to panic as the footsteps behind her got nearer.

'No, they're going to find him!' Kody thinks as her eyes widen in realization, 'This is not good! Please you have to help me, how do I find you? Help me find you! Please for once let him hear me!' She doesn't know who she's begging but all she knows is that she has to save this man, she is desperate to save him.

Then, her breathlessness disappeared as her body, more like soul, shifted to the side and face a silhouette of a man who was panting, breathless, leaning on the wall trying to catch up on his breath. He then raised his head and stared at her, she stared right back at his striking bright ocean eyes. Which was actually the only thing that she could see clearly unlike the rest of his appearance that are always blurry ever since she came to know him. His eyes widened as he saw a woman right in front of him.

"Who-? Wha-? How?" he said as he stabilized his breathing and trying to comprehend what is happening.

'Am I delirious? Is this what they call illusion? Is this the effect of what they injected me with ever since they kidnapped me?' He starts thinking to himself that she is just a figment of imagination. He looked down on his feet which are now bloody from running barefooted in this maze tunnels that has rocks as their floors and cemented walls.

"You- can see me...?" She whispered in shock.

Kody couldn't believe it, 'WE MADE EYE CONTACT!!'

When he heard her voice, his head shot up like a rocket, surprised.

"Great! You can hear me too!" Kody whispered yelled aware that the footsteps are right around the corner. "You have to help me, tell me where you are?" she said in urgency, the footsteps stopping just outside the path to where they are right now.

"I-" He started but the people who were wearing orange suits came and passed through Kody's image, as she starts to dissipate one can see in her eyes that she was scared for the man and the worry that this orange suited people will kill him. All this happening didn't escape the man's eyes, and in a split second there was a gunfire. A thud. And Kody screaming 'no' as she disappeared from the scene.

(Back to reality.)

-K City, Country A.-

A girl, sat up in bed panting, sweating, and tears rolling down her cheeks, tiny little sobs escaping her mouth as she wakes out of her dream. She shivers from the cold temperature of her room. She fumbles for the switch. The room was suddenly bright, the girl on the bed gripping the comforters in a fist as she tries to calm down, her red hair all over her head, some sticking to her face and neck due her tears and sweat. She got up from the bed making her skin vulnerable to the cold, she walked shaking all the way to her bathroom to clean up. After she washes her face, she looked straight at her reflection in the mirror. She was a girl, no older than 18, her red hair now a little wet from the water that she used to remove the stickiness from it, pale skin due to her being anemic, forest eyes meets forest eyes, as she starts to think of OBE (Oh-bee), the guy that she has no idea of his real identiy, only the color of his eyes.

"Who are you really?" Kody whispers to herself as if he can hear again just like in her dreams.
