1 The Fight
The beautiful azure light of the sun can be seen glistening on the skyscrapers of New Metropolis. It's citizens were curiously looking up towards the sky but no they weren't staring at the sunset rather at one of its skyscrapers.
In one the office of this particular skyscraper, a young man with a black coat, t-shirt and jeans holding two batons with electricity surging through them was in a fight for his life against 4 men armed with a pulse cannon. Multiple lasers were been shot at him but he deflects with his batons. Man 1 lunges at the young man but he rolls sideways dodging the man. The young man reaches into his pockets and throws an imploding grenade at 3 men in front. He then turns to face 1 who punches him, the force of the punch led him to drop his batons. The young man pulls out his laser pistols and shoots 1 multiple times but the pistols has no effect as he regenerates each time he is shot.1 slowly moves towards the young man. Seeing this the young man runs forward at an astonishing speed, grabs 1's legs and throws him out of the building. Without miss a beat the young man grabs a chair throws it toward the 3 Men. The chair disintegrated after contact from the pulse fired from the 1 meter pulse cannon. Pulse cannons have a fire rate of 0.5 seconds but that was enough time for the young boy to grab one of batons and deflect the pulse but the force of the pulse almost broke his left arm flinging the baton away. Using both of his arms he reaches for the other baton to deflect the next pulse. This time he was able to hold on to it. He then supercharge the baton and throws it towards the oncoming pulse and immediately dove to his left and hides behind a table. As soon as the pulse touched the baton, a white lightning struck everything in the office. The young man stood up and stares at the bodies of the 3 men. He then walks towards the pulse cannon. one of the men lunges towards him and started strangling him. The young man took out his gun shot of the man hands, then swept the 2 of the ground. He stamp on the man head and started to shoot him. Each time the man regenerated a yellow light was seen. The yellow light was the genesis, the organ that allows regeneration. The young man then shot the genesis several times killing 2. He picks up the pulse cannon and shoots the elevator door as soon as it opens. Body of 1 disintegrates.

The year is 3098, climate change didn't destroy the World but the greenhouse gases the slowly mutate humans giving us superpower. Aliens are real, they came into Earth in 31st century, they all have the own special abilities.
The young man is a teenager called Darhk.( since this is his story I will let him take it from here). Darhk is my name, I am 19 years old and since my superpower is electrokinesis. I am a Grade A mutant making me one powerful the most powerful mutant to ever live. Grade A are the most power and rarest and grade E are the least powerful and most common. Pretty cool right but I don't really use my powers to fight makes the fight way too easy and short. I mean I can control lightning and I can flying so I could basically just spam lightning at people. Which is why I do use the good ol'hand to hand. I am part of an organisation called Phoenix. our goal is to eradicate the Furies. The Furies are aliens from a destroyed planet so they want ours. They are extremely strong and can shapeshift. The men in the skyscrapers that them although this ones are special. They stole the regeneration technology which is why tracked them down and killed. Phoenix is ran by bunch of old People and they don't even pay. So my part time job is stealing. I am currently looting the skyscraper. The cops will take at least 10 minutes to gets here. So I take my time. Time is Money after all.
