Back in the shed, alone with the battered Viscount, she could hear Elizabeth's cries.

The men used Elizabeth as a toy, and Evelyn could hear her screams but covered her eyes so she wouldn't hear them.

Then they slammed the door open and threw Elizabeth out. "Let's take her too," said the goon.

"Yes," replied the other.

Evelyn returns with the chipped plank, saying, "Leave me alone."

One of the goons is shot as they laugh.

She panicked as he fell to her, and when she looked up, it was the Goon's boss saying, "Rest easy lady, tell your prayers, because tomorrow you won't be here,"

"Matthew will come get you." Evelyn stated

"No one has found us, we are inside a cave and no one can enter," the boss said.

"So stop thinking of the Duke and tell your prayers," he brushes her hair.

As they walk away, Evelyn begins to cry, "Where are you my Duke?" she sobs.

Back in the forest, Matthew and his colleagues were looking for the cave.

"Where are these fools?" he wondered, "there should be a way." When Mathew responded, a pack of wolves howled at them and began chasing them.

The Duke cuts the wolf with one swing, and as they fight, more wolves appear.

"This day couldn't get any worse," Andrew said.

Back in the shed, Evelyn sobs and then notices Elizabeth trembling.

She covers Elizabeth, and Elizabeth screams when she sees Evelyn.

"Stay away, stay away," she yells,

"I won't hurt you, I won't." said Evelyn hugging her

Elizabeth sees her and cries, "I'm so....sorr...sorry!..."

Evelyn sees her and slowly touches and rubs her head.

"It's okay, it's okay," Evelyn rubs her back, "here, drink some water."

"Why are you helping me?" Elizabeth asked.

"Because I'm a woman, I may be a commoner, but I want to help others," she responds,

"And despite everything I did to you, you still helped me."Elizabeth questions

"It's okay, it's okay, you're like my sister," Evelyn said through tears.

"sister, it's been a long time hearing that word"Elizabeth exclaimed

The boss bursts through the door and drags Evelyn by her hair. "Aww, it hurts Aww," Evelyn screams.

"Leave her alone, Leave her," Elizabeth says as she bites him. The boss kicks her and spits on her before dragging Evelyn to the main hall.

The men bind her and draw the sword.

"Is this how I die?" Evelyn wondered. "Is this how it ends?"

The Boss prepares to slash her.

"Please wait a moment, sir," she says.

"Um, what do you want?" asked the boss.

"You know, if you're going to execute me, wouldn't it be great if I had my last meal?" Evelyn wondered.

" What ?" said the kidnapper, " you wanna die"

" please" said Evelyn

"Give what she wants, I'm not a savage, give whatever we have," the boss said.

Soup was fed to her by the goons. She prayed after feeding her, "Please make it quick and painless."

As the Boss was preparing to execute her, she sobbed and said her final words, "I love you Matthew."

As the Boss swings an arrow shot to the boss's hand, she opens her eyes to see the Duke rushing by, she smiles and faints.

"It's the Duke, get them," the boss orders.

Matthew apprehends the goons and then confronts the boss, who attempts to flee with his injured hand.

While chasing, Matthew recognizes the man who pushed his mother.

"You," he yells, raising his sword and pursuing him; he throws the sword and strikes the man.

He stomps on the boss's hand and swings his sword.

"Don't do that, Matthew," Micheal says.

"Leave me alone, he killed my mother," Matthew yelled angrily.

"Killing him will not bring your mother back," Micheal explained.

He screams and shatters the man's hand.

While the Knights apprehend the goons, he goes to Evelyn and carries her to the horse.

The Duke enters the guild and places Evelyn on the bed, holding her hand and crying as he hears her say his name.

"I love you Evelyn, don't leave again," Mathew kissed her forehead.

The next morning, Evelyn awakens to find Matthew holding her hand; she smiles and rubs his head, but then she recalls the Duchess' words and gets up.

The Duke wakes up and notices that Evelyn is not in bed; he searches for her but is unsuccessful until he spots her on the rooftop. "Evelyn, Evelyn, what are you doing?" the Duke inquires. "Leave me alone, you are getting hurt, you are making more enemies as we speak, I only wanted a life but no enemies," she cries.

He hugs her and says, "It's over, we're going to arrest the Lady."

She comes to a halt and tells the lady what she told her, which clears the air. Matthew kneels and sobs, "my mother was alive after the accident and she killed her, how can I get over it?"

"I got a better idea" Evelyn says

The lady enjoys her tea and waits for the news when Evelyn approaches her. "You, why are you alive?" she asks nervously, and then sees Matthew. She tries to flee but is stopped by Jacob, who is flanked by Michael and Andrew.

"My sons, save me from that man, he's trying to kill me," the lady says.

"How are you, our mother?" Jacob inquired.

"What?" she inquired.

"Our mother is no longer alive," Micheal stated.

"Our mother was a kind and wise Cotton family lady who raised me like a son who ever wanted after the Viscount left you, after you married the Duke, you were no longer our mother, but a filthy rich lady," Jacob pushed her.

" I'm your mother" she said

She begs Michael and Andrew, but they turn their backs on her.

She sees Evelyn and pounces on her, screaming, "You witch!"

The knights hold her while Matthew points the sword at her.

"Your days as Lady of the House end today, Arrest her, you will pay for your crimes," Matthew said.

"What is going on?" inquired the Duke, "and what is the meaning of this?"

"keep out of this Duke Morrison, this lady has committed a heinous crime by not only kidnapping Evelyn but also attempting to murder her. Not only that, but the girls she introduced failed Her and were used as live stock by those bandits. Lady Lyre died as a result of her injuries, whereas Lady Elizabeth was brutally abused and used as a plaything for the goons, and she is now placed in the church to cleanse the filth from the goons who used her."

"Do you have any proof?" asked the Duke. The Duke stated

"Bring him here." "Tell me is this your client," Mathew ordered as the Knights bought the goons boss and his right hand man.

"No," the boss replied.

"Yes, yes, Lady Cotton is the perpetrator," said the right hand man.

"Shut up you," he says, punching him.

"That answers today," Matthew said.

"How can you do this to me Lisa?" the Duke asked. "Enough drama Matthew, release her, she may be a criminal, but she's family."

"Save your words, Duke," Matthew advised, "you ain't what you think you are."

"What are you talking about?" said the Duke as they cuffed him. "You may be acting as if you care about us, but you are also a part of this act," Matthew added.

"What do you mean?" inquired the Duke.

" Evelyn, if you please," the Duke says to Evelyn.

"You see, when I checked the old accounts, I saw the pages of the old accounts from your time and saw the name of this bandit in your account; not only that, but you were responsible for Lady Canterbury's death," Evelyn explains.

"What!" exclaimed the Duke.

"You were envious of Lady Canterbury's wealth and wanted her money despite the fact that she helped you grow your business, but you were so envious of Canterbury's fame that you murdered your own wife and thought the wealth would be yours; fortunately, duke All I can say is that Matthew was raised by Duke Canterbury to save him from your clutches "she stated

"Why, why, I always thought of you as a role model," Matthew cries to the Duke.

"I'm sorry, it's all because of that bloody wench," the Duke says with regret

"Enough, we'll hear what the Queen has to say about you two" said Matthew as the Knights take them away

"You can't take me, I'm still the duchess of Morrison," exclaimed the lady.

Weeks later, Her Highness sentenced the old Duke of Morrison to life imprisonment and will live there until he dies, giving the title to Matthew, who gives the title to Jacob as the eldest and takes his mother's and grandfather's title as the new Duke of Canterbury.

While the lady of Morrison has been stripped of nobility and sentenced to death for the harrassment and murder of a young girl, all the ladies who supported her at the palour have been arrested for a year and stripped of nobility.

Evelyn was elevated to the rank of Viscountess and given the title of Viscountess. She was also adopted by the Viscount of Hawkins, who fell in love with Mrs. Montefiore, and Elizabeth gained a new younger sister. Things changed after Lady Morrison's death; Micheal became the queen's commander, while Andrew married Maria. Piper became the next head maid of Morrison House after Linda retired and joined Mrs Montefiore, now Lady Hawkins, as a teacher for young maids and after Anne quit her maid duty,she became a receptionist at the guild.

As for Mathew and Evelyn, they fell in love and got engaged.

Thus ends the romantic life of a maid who was reincarnated from her horrible last life and found her love.
