At the back of the alley, Michael explains what Jacob told him.
"That damm woman, do you know where or who they were?" Matthew yelled angrily.
"I don't know who, but we have to keep Evelyn safe," Michael replied.
He looks at him, perplexed. "Why are you helping me, it's your mother," the Duke inquired of Michael.
"I know, but that's not mother," Michael clarified.
"What do you mean?" Matthew inquired.
"Mother was always caring about the wealth of Morrison but not the love of the family, she would speak bad things and make us enemies not only to you but others too, While She didn't care Lady Canterbury treated us like a mother. She nursed us and fed us good food but not our mother, she would whip us if made a mistake" he starts crying
"It's okay, Michael, Mother always treated you like her own," Matthew said. "I'm sorry for not being with you when the lady passed away," Michael said, holding him. "Past is past, forget them, let's start a new chapter," he said.
"Yes, we must first save Evelyn and bring down Lady Cotton," Michael stated.
"Yes, at all costs," Matthew says, fists clenched, "tell the men to be on the lookout."
As they entered, they noticed a drunk Evelyn who had won the competition by finishing thirty jugs of beer. She walks around drunk and gets close to Mathew.
"Are you okay, Evelyn?" Matthew inquired.
"Oh Matthew, have you always been so cute" she talks drunkenly and walks to the bridge
"Look out" Matthew shouts
She falls in the water after tripping.
"Evelyn!" he screams as he witnesses his mother's death by falling off the cliff.
Evelyn then grabs his hand and throws him into the water as well.
"Huh," Matthew exclaims.
She splashes water on him, and he notices her smiling and laughing, and his worries vanish. He smiles and splashes at her as well. The group notices them and makes fun of them when the fireworks start.
Matthew notices her glowing near the fireworks and rushes over to kiss her, surprising everyone. Evelyn, who is unaware that the Duke kissed her, said, "I love you Matthew," making Matthew happy.
As the festival came to an end, they were about to leave when they heard noises. Matthew looks at Andrew, who agrees and takes Evelyn to his back. As they leave, some figures look at them and slowly attempt to attack, but no one is there.
"Where have they gone?" the kidnapper wondered.
"They were here," said someone else.
"Find them and bring the girl, it's going to be a great night for the lady," the goon said.
They knights were in their positions as they were searching for them.
Before they can emerge, Matthew's knight slashes one of the kidnappers, who is quickly followed by another.
"It's a trap," the kidnapper explained.
"Everyone flee," the main kidnapper said.
However, before they can flee, Michael and Matthew join the fight.
They both fight and kill the kidnappers, while others notice the maids and Andrew.They started chasing them.
Andrew hands Evelyn over to the maids, saying, "Run as fast as you can, go to the guild, my friends will be waiting", and fight the goons.
Maria looks at him
"Go" said Andrew
she runs to him and they share a lip lock
" Be safe" Maria says it him which he nods
Maria and others flee, but they are apprehended by the goons before they reach their destination.
"Help someone," Maria cried.
"No one will come to help you, you are all alone," the goons laugh.
"I can't wait to touch them," the other said.
When they were approaching them, arrows struck them; it was the adventurers.
"Are you all right?" asked a man.
"Brother!" exclaimed Anne as she embraced him.
"I'm glad you are alright; I received a distress call from Duke Andrew," said her brother
"Thank god," said Maria
Evelyn abruptly awakens, "Huh, what's going on?"
"Long story short, it's time to go," Piper said.
They thought they were safe as they ran, but Rebecca, who reveals herself to be an adventurer, protected them.
"Rebecca?" Evelyn exclaimed.
"I'm sorry for revealing, Lady Cotton wants you dead," Rebecca explained.
"What Lady Morrison wants to be dead," Evelyn feared.
"Don't worry, the adventurers and knights have arrived," Maria said as she held Maggie.
"Don't celebrate right now; instead, run as fast as you can," Rebecca advised.

"Go to the guild" said Rebecca fighting the goons
"Got it" said Evelyn running with Maria and Maggie while Annie helps her brother fight the goons
Just before they could enter, A goon who was riding a horse snatches Evelyn and races.
"Evelyn!" shouts Maria
Andrew runs and sees her missing. "Where is she?"
"They ran with her," said Rebecca
While Matthew is finishing up, he notices Andrew running and checks to see if Evelyn is there but cannot find her. "Where is she?" he inquires.
Nobody said anything.
"Where's she, dammit?" he screamed, slashing the goons.
'Brother stop,' Michael says as he tries to console his brother.
When they see some of them running, they kill them and capture one of them, asking, "Where's Evelyn?" Matthew yelled and brutally punched the man to death.Andrew and Michael attempt to prevent him from killing him.
"Where's she?" he cries, then begins yelling, "Where's your boss?"
"Here" shouts Jacob as he brings the Main goon's right-hand man
"Where is she?" he asks, pulling on the man's collar. "I won't tell a thing," the man says.
"You!" he yells angrily.
"Keep your words, Matthew," Jacob advised.
"However," Matthew added.
"Relax, brother; he knows what he's doing," Michael says, smiling.
They take him to the interrogation room, and Jacob approaches the man. "Please tell me where Miss Montefiore is."
"In your dreams, she'd be dead by now," the man chuckled.
"You won't tell huh" he rolls his sleeve and punches him left to right but he wouldn't talk
"Hmm it seems he likes you Matthew" he throws to Mathew who takes out the nutcracker
"Hey. what are you doing?" the man screamed
Michael pulls out his finger while Andrew covers the mouth
"You want to tell us now," said Matthew placing the nutcracker on his finger. He refuses to tell; Matthew looks at everyone and suddenly breaks his finger
"Now shall you tell," he asks politely, but there is no response, and he breaks his fingers one by one. Suddenly, he gives up and tells you where he is.
Back at the Goons' hideout, Evelyn is bound by the chair and tries to escape; she begins shaking and pushes herself against the wall in search of something sharp, but she is unsuccessful.
"Where have I landed?" she enquired.
She was a very hardworking woman who everyone loved, but others tried to put her down in her previous life, but she always stood up and faced all the dangers because her hard work landed her dead and now reborn as a maid and remembered when the goddess told her that if she died, she would not return.
She tries her best to escape, and checks anything sharp but no luck, " Matthew, please Duke, please help me " she said in tears
As she tries to flee, she hears a noise and sees the Viscount unconscious, while she can hear screams from outside "Isn't that Elizabeth?" she recognizes the voice. She could hear screams and her pleading, "I have to find something at any cost," and finds a chipped table, "Bingo."
"Come on, come on," she says as she pushes her chair and tries to cut the ropes.
"yes"
She unties herself and attempts to assist the Viscount.
" Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Hawkins, please wake up," she begs.
He murmurs, "Save Elizabeth..."
Suddenly, she hears footsteps and hides behind the door, taking out a plank. When she opens the door, the goon enters and she quickly knocks him unconscious and tries to flee.
"She's fleeing," the goon exclaimed.
"Capture her," the other said.
As she ran, the goons pursued her, and suddenly, someone fired a gunshot, and as she tried to flee, someone knocked her out and she fell unconscious.
When she wakes up, she is still tied up and sees a hooded figure.
"Please let me go." "What did I do to hurt you, my Lady?" she screamed.
The hooded figure reveals herself to be the Duchess.
"My, my, come to think of it, a low unruly maid attempting to seduce the Duke and win his heart in order to become not only his secretary but also a noble," she says while smoking her pipe.
" Cough , cough" Evelyn coughs as Lady Cotton blows to her
"What does he see in you?" she asks, pinching her cheeks. "You're not as beautiful as the girls I assign, but he wants you," the lady says, tapping her, as she touches her, the rings the lady was wearing hurt Evelyn's face. "Leave me alone, I haven't seduced the Duke, I only envy him as a great boss and as a friend," Evelyn says, crying.
"Tsk, tsk, my child, you are just like his mother, pitiful as ever, I remember when she fell, she survived the fall, but I killed her by choking her, that's what power is," laughed the lady.
"You monster, you murderer," Evelyn exclaimed.
The lady laughs and tries to choke her, "want to die like her," and pushes her,
"cough, cough," as Evelyn tries to catch her breath.
"I only wanted my children to be the head of the house, but they are all useless, so I appointed the girls, but they are also useless, so be a good girl or else you'll end up like them," she says signalling the men.
Two men carry two bodies and throw them at her; she is terrified seeing Elizabeth and Lyre lay there naked because the men brutalized and beat them up.
She begs and cries, "Please, Please leave me alone."
"Don't worry, child, I won't hurt you," the Lady said as she brushed her hair, "you've done enough for the Duke, it's time to move on."
"Dispose of this filthy rat, and when she's dead, feed her to the animals; let's make an example of who he's dealing with, and give me all the property when I get my choice for him," laughed the Lady as she rode in the carriage.
The men rush to save Evelyn after only a few kilometers, "we were close," Micheal said.
"Don't worry, brother, she'll be fine," Andrew said.
"I hope so," Matthew said.
