The Maid Daughter

I've been sitting here just looking outside hoping I would leave the four corners of this house one day, wishing for something like that was useless, my forefathers had been maids and looking at my life right now my generation were certainly going to be maids, life was not fair,

*Alicia!!!!*

*yes mama*i replied getting up from the kitchen chair and walking towards her voice,

*yes mama*i said walking up close to her,

*take these to Morris's room*

*why me, why can't you give it to anybody but me I'm not in the mood to receive any insults from him or see any vile things*i replied

Morris was the son to sir Stephen lugard, he was the most arrogant bastard I had ever seen in my life not that I have seen much but he was the worst.

*you better be in the mood for all the attitudes you'll be getting because no body is going to be serving him his breakfast*mama replied dropping the tray filled with food on my hands,

I might as well get this done and over with, I looked at my maid uniform making sure it was in the best shape possible, I had to be prepared for whatever he was going to say,

I walked up the stairs towards his room, I inhaled deeply before knocking on the door, I waited for an answer before I could enter,

i wasn't getting any response so I pushed the door open with my leg, i walked in to a formidiable scenario

*why are you in my room?* the young master said,

*I knocked and i didn't get any answer,  I thought you were still asleep*Alicia said

*would you stop thinking all the time and act like someone with a bloody sense*he fired,

*I didn't mean... *he cut me off

*you didn't get an answer and you thought you should enter my room without any invitation,  are you stupid? *he asked

I couldn't expect more not at all from him, I knew how he was and yet some part of me keeps expecting someone better,

I kept quiet with my head down with no response at all,

*im talking to you, you stupid thing*he shouted,  his baritone voice sent waves across the surface of my skin,

He got out of the bed and walked towards me,

I staggered backwards as he moved closer to me, his cologne was very appealing,  in a way it made me feel at ease in a very uneasy situation,

I bent my head down as he walked closer looking at his bare feet,  I could feel his eyes tearing me from limb to limb,

He held my hand squeezing it tightly,  he forcefully raised my chin and looked into my eyes,  he was angry and I was feeling it right now,  his fingers were boring holes into my skin but I was scared to say a word, I hoped my eyes could plead for his mercy,  he looked at me distastefully as my eyes watered with tears,  he released my hand,

*get out*he said

I stumbered in fear dropping the tray of food on his body,

*I... I.. I'm so sorry sir* I stammered

He was more furious,  I saw his face change very quickly, his clenched jaw said it all,

*get out!*he yelled,

I fell to the ground and trying to pick up the broken glass with my trembling hands i pierced my skin with a piece of it,

*I said get out*he yelled again pulling me up by the hand and throwing me out of the room,

Mama always said expect the worst from the young master and never show any facial expression no matter how complicated the situation was,

But everytime I felt he couldn't get any worst he seemed to always prove me very wrong,

I tried to stop the bleeding by wrapping it with the bottom of my uniform but the harder I pressed the further into my flesh did the glass piece go,

*what happened again? *mother asked as I ran pass the kitchen in tears.

I ran into the maid's quarter of the house and into the cubicle we called rooms,  I sat on the ground with uniform soaked in my own blood and began to cry.
