The key of this novel is in the prose and humour. It will make you smile even when reading the most mundane things being done. Can't say much about the characters, for now they follow archtypes. Shameless duke, cold FMC. But the writing, ooooh the writing, and grammar for that matter. They are top notch in this here site called Qidian. I would highly recommend, and I am sure the plot will eventually shine through with it's own, unique, merits.
This is the second book I read from the author. The first one is the Queen's Wicked Deeds. And like that book, each of the Magician Queen chaps also always leave a smile to my face. Review Proper after reading the latest chapter 21. Writing Quality. It is written well plus it easy and fun to read each narratives. Stability of Updates. I look forward for more updates. Story Development. The flow of the story were not too fast and every scene were explained well. Not only that, I enjoy the things the female lead experienced and the people she met. They are all fun most of the time. Character Design. Jane or Eli, her characterization is greatly portrayed. In the QWD, Anne can be remembered when it comes to being adorable. While Eli here is quite the cunning yet funny one. "Look into my eyes..." That line will be stuck in my mind for many days π€£. The male lead, (well, just read it if you want to know about him) but I can assure you, he's hot π. The other characters too are all distinct and felt so natural. World Background: It is written well. Overall, this book is a great read. If you're looking for a reincarnation story with an awesome and cool yet funny female lead, definitely read this one. Great work author! Keep it up!
The premise is nice and unique, the story telling is fresh and very comfortable to read. The very prologue you put there is very very nice as it got me hooked. So far, everything is remained mystery, kinda make one wonder what else is there. The impression and the way you introduced Jane as the lead is very nice. Story development has been good so far, the anticipation and guessing keeps me at the edge. If anything, the world building and description of things and surrounding, there's a lot of space for improvement for these as for me personally, I tend to like and need to read more of detailed descriptions to immerse myself in the story and feel the atmosphere. Overall, it's nice reading experience, good luck!
I'm guessing when the author named this book, she had herself in mind, because authorβyou are a MAGICIAN with words. The Sneak Peak chapter left me wanting more, and although the transition to the 1st chapter was quite sudden, it left me wondering and making theories. At the part I'm reading right now, it's been mostly world-building and character development, but it's safe to say things are progressing smoothly. I love the writing style; it's like literal magic with tinges of humour and so immersive. The mc is super cool and I like her attitude. I'd like to know more about her past and where the story is going, because currently it's a mystery hanging over our heads. My favourite part is when author describes the magic mc does in a fluent way. Apart from a few past/present tense mistakes the language is perfect. All in all, I love this book. Give this a try everyone!
Pretty good read. First few chapters start off great with engaging narration by the protagonist. Direction wise is very clear from the beginning, where this story wants to go to, although sometimes there can be a bit too much detail within certain chapters. My only criticism would be the world, it's there but perhaps try to spice it up a bit more with what makes the setting exclusive for this novel. So far so good. Keep up the good writing.
