1 First day

*Whip*

My first impression of this world was when I was falling to my death. That cruel and vicious death that liked to play with his best friend, the infamous destiny.

*Whip*

Goodness, that freaking hurts! The sound of the whip striking my skin was so hard for this little fragile body to stand, though, this was not my body.

My eyes furrowed in pain with every hit, and my lips bled from how tight I had to bit them to stop my mouth from letting out a scream. I won't let anyone have the chance to hear me cry in pain, not a single sound.

*Whip*

Again this woman, does she need to kill me to feel that she is powerful? Well, she was laughing and smirking with fun. What a shame that I will not give her the opportunity to entertain herself anymore, her time was up and so my patience.

*Whip*

That last hit didn't reach my youthful skin. But it reached the last strain of my sanity. This time she will learn what is to suffer the life of a commoner, a slave bought for her own diversion.

I didn't feel anything now, no pain, my body was numb and there was no mark on my back, no injury dripping with blood, there was nothing but rage in my eyes.

"Let me finish her," I heard the raspy voice of that woman's daughter. I bet she is smiling from the opportunity to teach me a lesson. She had been waiting far enough.

"No, this is my turn!"

"I want to do it," they started struggling and fighting among themselves. The woman that was the mother, with that horrible face full of wrinkles and misguided teeth, but the daughter was even uglier, maybe even crueler. Not even an angel would give them pity if they were to come down.

Then the sound of steps interrupted their ridiculous banter, but it was an unnecessary stop as I was prepared to fight, and my hands were eager to punish them.

"Is the job done?"

The sleazy voice of an old man reached my ears. I was still with my back to the woman, my dress was covered in blood and in drops of freezing water that they kept pouring on me to wake me up, to make sure I was not already dead.

Maybe they simply wanted to clean the blood as it was on their way to see how my white tender skin was marked by the hits of that whip. I knew it was ripping apart my body, and the cuts on my back couldn't be counted anymore. It was painful and cruel for a little girl, but, it seemed that this was necessary to bring me back to life.

If I were any other I would have been already dead, my soul would have already soared to wherever a soul like mine would go, heaven, hell, or nothingness. Wait, that trip was not necessary as I was already dead. Not here, not now, but many years later in a different world.

"Is she dead?"

The women didn't respond, but I was not, at least, not me this time. The one in the hands of that creepy and cold death was Jane, her name was Jane. The sweet girl that took care of John, Martin, and Mellie in the orphanage house from the day she was taken there.

The baby that some family didn't want, or forgot, the baby with strange white hair and bloody eyes. Not that it was unusual, the orphanage was filled with unwanted babies, little humans with fragile hearts but strong souls, though, many times those tiny souls tend to become vengeful, like my own.

However, Jane was special. She was twelve years old, and her dream was to have a big family. Then she met the three little siblings, and they became her shadows.

She moved to the woods to look for apples, they moved behind her with big baskets to carry them. She moved to the kitchen to help the cook, they became her little assistants to wash the vegetables. She laughed, they laughed. She fought, they fought. She cried, they cried. She was happy, they were happy.

But nothing can last forever, or so fate had made sure of that. She cried when John, Martin, and Mellie were separated from her, and she was left with a Count, a Countess, and their awful children for company.

Once she thought that they were going to be good to her, that they will love her and treat her like family. What a shame that her little and fragile mind was fooled with her useless hopes of a beautiful life, hope had always been a scheming bitch. It makes someone happy just to later take that happiness back with interest.

Now, the poor Jane was left with minus one life, her life. Now she is where John, Martin, and Mellie went when the fire burned down the orphanage. Now, at least that hope can give them a better place to enjoy their deaths. At least that is what I hope.

Regarding me… sigh… I called it an unfortunate accident or a strange solution for a mistake up there in the soul's management that brought me here. In the body of the poor Jane right when her life was ending.

"I should thank them or not?" I hesitated when my arms recovered enough energy to support my body and help me sit down. "Should I?" After all, this little group of two crazy women and an obnoxious man, were the ones that summoned me to the land of the livings, again.

"She is still alive!"

The voice of the man grew again to create an echo in the room. My ears were a bit disturbed by the sound but, at the same time, surprised. I've never thought that I would hear such a high-pitched voice from a man, what a shame that he will not reach any other person again in this life. He would have become a famous singer.

"Get her!" he shouted when I rose to my feet, and the long white dress dripped blood drop by drop in a small pool of red.

I was perhaps a demon, maybe a strange creature from the depths of hell that came up to take their lives. However, even if I were a cruel demon, I will hesitate to take those dirty souls with me. I will make them wash their sins for a few years before letting them go somewhere to continue their journey. Then they will know what true torture meant.

Luck, that is what I call this. They are so fortunate that I am not a demon, but the ripper that will send them to death. And a ripper with not that much time to waste.

"Heh…" I smiled and they stopped their movements.

Three pairs of vicious eyes looked at me with surprise. However, it didn't last when they were already taking the chains ready to capture me and sent me to a new wave of pain.

Should I say they tried?
