2 Michael Sheehan

Michael stared up at the draconoid looking person. He was sacred out of his mind, as he had the right to be. Nibiru was 8' 6" after all.

"AH!? WHAT IS THAT!?" yelled Michael, quite appropriately. Nibiru got a huge shock, not expecting someone to enter so quickly. He knew he had to silence the human, before things got out of hand.

"String Magic: Thread Bindings". When he said these words, his "Magic" activated, causing strings to shoot out of his hands. These strings attached themselves to the human's arms, binding his arms to his chest, legs, binding them together, and mouth, so that he couldn't speak.

In the end, Micheal just looked like a human worm. Nibiru then simply went back to relaxing, knowing they couldn't do anything.

Michael started struggling, trying to escape these threads, but had no luck. He also tried to speak, but all that came out were muffled noises. Nibiru then realised that the human wished to speak, so he said these words before releasing the strings.

"If you yell, you die. Those are the rules for you speaking."

The strings fell away from Michael's mouth, and the first words out of his mouth were, "What the hell are you?", in a whispering tone of voice.

"Me? Oh, just Shawn Hearne." He then reactivated his transformation ability, and turned into Shawn Hearne, the human he copied.

"But... How? Shawn and me have been friends for years, surely I would have known if he was a scaly beast!" Michael said, not believing his own eyes.

"Each person has only one ability, right? Let me show you that I am Shawn." He then lets electricity run around his fingers, indicating that his ability is Electricity.

"No... No.... This isn't true. You aren't Shawn! The only real Shawn Hearne that I know is the Shawn that has been my friend for years!" Michael yelled, forgetting Nibiru's threat.

"Oh no, you yelled. Die." Nibiru sent the electricity towards Michael, but stopped for some reason. The reason being that his system had alerted him of something.

"Warning. Killing [Human: Michael Sheehan] will have serious consequences. Do you wish to continue?"

These words caused Nibiru to realise something. If he were to kill a human, bad things would happen. He didn't know what, but if his system told him it would be bad, it would truly be bad.

He made the electricity return to him, and said to Michael, "It seems it wouldnt be a good idea to kill you, so you can live. With one condition, however. You must not tell anyone of what you have seen today. Is that a good agreement for you?"

Michael was still in disbelief in what just happened, as he had almost been killed just moments ago, so it took him a few seconds for him to realise what the fake Shawn had said.

"If it keeps me alive, it's completely fine with me, but let me ask you a question. Who, and what, are you?"

Nibiru decided to answer honestly on this one, because he now understood a piece of this human's mind.

"First, my name, or well, the name I gave myself, is Nibiru, The Eyes Of Red. And as for what I am, it's nothing you would have heard of. I am a demon, but not of the average variety. I have titled myself as a 'Magical Demon', as any demons that have or still exist cannot perform magic. Except for me."

Michael was curious as to what this 'Magic' thing was. It sounded... powerful. "Magic? What is that?"

Nibiru realised something else about humans. They didn't have magic. They only had 'Abilities', which were like an extremely weak form of magic, and they were only limited to one type, while he could cast any type.

"Magic is like a really strong ability. Much stronger than a normal humans ability. That is magic, but explained for you humans."

Michael stood there in shock, before falling on to the ground, simply scared for his life. There was a large demon thing standing infront of him, in the guise of one of his close friends.

"Anyway, what is your name and ability, human?" The reason Nibiru was asking for their name and ability, because he wanted to hear what they said from their own mouth, and not from what the system said.

"O-oh, you w-want to k-k-know my n-n-name? M-my name i-is M-Micheal Sheehan, a-and my ability i-is I-Ice." He was stuttering quite a bit, which was acceptable, for he had just found out about the 8' 6" Dragon disguised as a human.

His nerves started to calm down as he talked. "I live h-here, in Foulksmills. M-my parents live h-here too. We live in an a-apartment near the school. They moved so c-close because they d-didn't want me to have to walk a l-long way from the school and our h-house."

"Me and Shawn have been friends since we met, 6 y-years ago. We encountered each other at o-our old school, but we didn't really talk with each other. That was until he defended me against some bullies who had realised that my ability was weak. They had beaten me to the ground, and one was about to use their Fire ability on me, planning to burn me very badly, when he saw me, and used his Electricity ability to shock the bullies into unconsciousness for 30 minutes. He then helped me stand up, and got me to a doctor, and we have been friends ever since. He has also... " Michael kept on talking about Shawn, seemingly looking up to him like a hero.

Nibiru looked around the room while Michael talked, and remembered that one other person was meant to be here, but he didn't know who. While he was thinking about who might be in the other bed, an announcement could be heard over the speakers.

"Attention all First Year students. Please make your way to the training hall, where we shall test your strength. I repeat, make your way to the training hall."

Nibiru, or Shawn Hearne, looked up at the ceiling and smirked. "Time to see how strong I am, compared to everyone else". He stood up, while Michael flinched, putting his hands infront of his face, scared that he would be hurt, for out of his fear, he didn't hear the announcement. He had only heard the "Time to see how strong I am" part.

Nibiru grabbed him by the arm, while saying, "Come on, time to go to the 'Training Hall'. We have a test to take."

Nibiru was dragging Michael along by the arm, wanting to get down to the training hall, so he could see what types of things humans had that could test his strength.

He would be sorely disappointed for the most part. All they really had were training dummies, treadmills, and other physical and magical testers. The one thing that impressed Nibiru however, was one metallic looking tester, which he was excited to get around to.

They were all told to line up, so that they could be sure they had everyone. Michael and Nibiru, or Shawn, were placed together in the line, because they were in the same room. The other roommate was still yet to be seen.

The person organising the line was none other than the principal himself, Eamonn Rossiter, or as everyone else, including the students, called him, Rossy. This was because he was a laid back man, but would get serious if something truly required his attention.

He started talking to the student about the tests, about how they were to try their best, when Michael suddenly put up his hand, a signal that meant he wanted to ask a question.

"Yes, Michael?" Rossy asked, with a grin on his face. He had been one of the teachers for Michael's older brother, Matthew, and knew the entire family was a kind, but also laid back family. Most of the time.

"Sir, you might not want to test this person here. They would shock you. Literally and figuratively." Michael said with a serious look on his face, while nodding his head sideways at Nibiru, or Shawn Hearne, indicating that this time, he wasn't messing, unlike his family.

Rossy checked his clipboard. In it he had a sheet with every students name and ability. "Let's see... Shawn Hearne. It says here his ability is electricity. You weren't wrong about the shock part!" Rossy starts to laugh, indicating that he would test them anyway, but this time he voiced it in words aswell. "We are still going to test him, Michael, but we will keep your advice in mind."

Nibiru just stood there, a grin on his face, planning to show people the real difference between a normal human and a disguised one.
