For weeks she practice after school and learned more and more about ancient laws and binding contracts. Marcus never left her mind not once. One day she was walking to class and noticed Marcus Harper standing in front of Valerie Meadows locker. "Marcus what are you doing here? " Destiny demanded to know. "I'm sorry I don't communicate with witches." Marcus said mockingly. Destiny heart was racing and it felt like she was getting stabbed over and over again. "I heard he was told to come home or there would be big trouble for his family. The council found him and said if he didn't go back to his vampire life as nothing happened they would find his mother and kill her once and for all." Judy exclaimed.
