Prologue

Thunder Strike!

BooooooM!

Kevin who was currently fighting a dragon cast an 8th step magic Thunder Strike, a spell that uses a thunder element. He doesn't know how the hell he comes up with this situation as he was currently in low-profile and didn't reveal that he has a talent in magic.

People who have a talent in magic was respected in this world as he himself was reincarnated to a world he didn't even know of. In his previous world, he was a great scientist who discovered the space travel and discovered a planet that has terrestrials activities. The world they discovered had a frightening advance technology that they didn't even believe what they saw.

Upon laying their eyes on that planet they suddenly realize that a beam of light is heading on their way and then .....

BAAAAM!

The spaceship they used to space travel exploded, no one knows what the hell happened. All they knew that they died because of that beam of light. Kevin who was sure that he died to open his eyes, he looks at the surroundings and notices that he was not inside the spaceship nor inside a hospital. He was in a wooden house full of holes and he can easily see what's going on outside.

He didn't take his surroundings in his mind and just think where he is. Until he discovered that he is not on the planet Sarm anymore instead he was currently on an undiscovered planet that can't be explained with science. As a scientist, anything that was unexplainable by science doesn't exist but now his beliefs shatter as the world he was in is a world of magic where impossible becomes possible!

Kevin seeing an unbelievable scene in front of his eyes swear that he will solve the mystery of magic. Despite being born in a slump he didn't take it seriously he work at a young age as he knew how society works. He attends a magic academy to learn magic. Learn all the theory of magic and he becomes successful. He becomes famous as he was the only person who lives in slums who become successful and didn't mind the ridicule of others.

Until one day, he discovers a puzzle piece he was looking for a long time. One of the puzzle pieces to solve the mystery of magic! He made his mind and decided to go to the place where that piece is. What he didn't expect when he steps on that place is that an ancient dragon who was slumbered for 10, 000 of years suddenly woke up and notice his presence.

ROOOOOAAAAAAAR!

The ancient dragon roared at his direction but as his scientist instinct kicked in he can't leave the place empty handed and that's why he battled with the ancient dragon.

"Haha! What a bad luck to meet this old lizard here." Kevin said with a mocking tone in his voice. He can't believe as smart as he wanted to fight an existence that 10 times older than him even if he added his age in his previous life.

Currently, he was wounded all over his body, you can't any part that remains uninjured, that is the consequences of him being an idiot.

"I'm unsatisfied with this! You hear me! I'm unsatisfied with this!" Kevin roared at the sky. No one knows why he is roaring at the sky, maybe he was yelling at the being who reincarnated him in this world or maybe because he didn't solve the mystery of magic that still remains unknown to him.

[You have a great courage to challenge me human] The ancient dragon who is currently missing his leg spoke. Their fight was so intense that the mountains in the surrounding disappeared and the ancient dragon also lost one of its legs.

"Shut up lizard I lost so kill me if you can!" Kevin answered.

[What are you pursuing of?] The ancient dragon ignored what Kevin said and ask.

Kevin was shocked because this lizard didn't kill him right of the bat instead ask him a question. He can't possibly tell his enemy what is the thing is pursuing right now even if the enemy is the ancient dragon.

The ancient dragon seems to read his mind and of course, he also knew what Kevin is pursuing.

[Mystery of Magic? Are you an idiot?] The ancient said.

"What do you mean by that?" Kevin answered his voice was a lot calmer than before because he knew that being agitated can't do him any help.

[You lost so I will not tell you but since you manage to cut one of my legs I will give you a chance.]

The ancient dragon said and then it floated above Kevin. [You're curiosity is admirable to the point of you want to know the origin of this world. I will have you use your curiosity in another way!] It opens its mouth and swallowed Kevin whole without leaving a trace!

"Chance my ass! You just want to eat me you f*cking lizard!" Kevin yelled as he didn't contain his anger anymore. Then his consciousness faded as the ancient dragon chewed him.

Inside the cave, the cave was so dark that you can't see anyone in it. A frail young boy who is dying suddenly open his eyes and stood up. The frail young boy didn't believe what just happen.

"What the f*ck? Seriously?" He muttered.
