23 Chapter 23: Game Player Shyn

... Shyn's Point of View ...

"Do it. Let's see who's the boss here. You... or me?" Ava rolled her eyes. She then nod her head slowly while her eyes traveled their gazes on my shoes up until my face... What is she doing? "You are still wearing that? Are you even changing clothes?" She stuck out her tongue, and turned away.

What a brat...

Every day that passes, Ava is becoming more and more stubborn! ... Or maybe I am just beginning to really know her. She always do what she wants to do, say what she wants to say, go whenever and wherever there is trouble! Of course, the bomb is not her fault, I am not blaming her for that. But, for her to run off again... mmm!

Sigh! She did not even say anything to me, nor his grandfather the other night. She just left like she always does! And now, she is walking out again! Tsk!

Now where is my phone?!

I dialed a number, waited, and looked at Ava walking away, "Ryan, Ava is leaving. Follow her, and do not ever, ever, lose her. I have kids to teach!" I ended the call and shoot my phone in my pocket. Oh, God, I hate science!

Should I just give them a free time? Nahh, the principal's going to kill me... but, I hate science though! TT-TT

In the end, we decided to watch documentaries about, I do not even care, I am not sure, but there are microscopes and slides, and cells... Man, I can't wait to leave!

Fortunately, they are well-behaved, unlike Ava. She even yelled at me when we talked about the party the other night. I said that, if she did not show up, I would have just abducted her from her apartment, and brought her with the help of a dozen or more bodyguards. It was just a joke!

She kicked me real bad, that I have to threw my anger to the cops investigating further at the bombing scene. I even want to throw my phone while talking to them!

"Mr. Lee," a student tapped me on my shoulders. "May I go out?"

"Why?" I looked at him, and he stared back. I looked confused as f**k! "Oh... that. Yeah, yeah, sure!" The glasses, he is the one who grabbed Ava awhile ago. "And, can we," me, gesturing me and him, "...talk outside later. I just have some questions."

My class ended, and the their next class seems to be a self-review time for them... so, I think it is okay to talk right now...

I sat on the empty seat at back of the classroom, beside the kid with glasses, then I smiled, "Hey, about those questions..."

He just listened, he seems a nice kind of kid. "Ava? I do not know a lot about her, she either not attend class or skips all the time. It is a mystery for all of us that she still passes and knew some of our lessons even though she is like that. She is also close with our Biology teacher, obviously not you."

"Ahaha, thanks for reminding me that, kid." I really do not need that.

"Ava is hanging out with a bad crowd, that is why no one is friends with her here. And Mr. Lee, an advice... Do not waste your time dragging her back here. She will come when she wants to. Some of the kids here are actually scared of her. Most of our teachers already gave up on forcing her to go here everyday too."

"Really...," I slightly smiled at the glasses kid, took in a lot of air and sighed, and tapped his shoulders. "Thanks for the advice, but it's okay. It's my job to do that." It's my job to bring her back every time. I just don't know how many, exactly, that I am going to that...

"But, just a thought. I think you look so young for a teacher." Glasses kid... I tapped his shoulder again and walked out before they ask my age.

I walked towards my car, went in, and grabbed the folder inside the compartment. I know it's just here...

Ava's information from Mr. Smith.

Ava Smith Kriezer, 18... her picture, other detailed information are here. But her address is not even correct here. Her father's address is incorrect too. The fact that Mr. Kriezer is so hard to find, and Ava's ability and skills at fighting really bothers me.

Mr. Smith do not want me to investigate further... I am in the dark here. I need answers, I have to find her dad.
