I looked up at Ava's apartment, as I leaned on the side of my black car, "There sure is a lot going on in her life..." I unconsciously whispered.

Mr. Smith suddenly wanted me to find her unknown granddaughter that he just heard of, named Ava. I offered to investigate things about her, but he confidently refused.

Then I found her near an abandoned building located in a creepy alley, in a creepy part of the city. What's more interesting was she was beaten up badly... and surprisingly, she survived. I saw a group of kids searching someone to kill that night. Who would have thought she is the rabbit they are hunting for.

If Mr. Smith did not show me a picture of her beforehand, I could have lost her and leave her at a random hospital. But that brat have the guts to run away even though she is wounded and completely in pain!

When the guys who attacked Ava passed by me at the door, there is a Gladiolus flower tattoo on one of them... Just what did that girl do to piss them off?

"Tsk! Pfft!" I can't help to chuckle and shake my head... There is no way that Gladiolus is also the one responsible for beating her up that night. Hahaha! Oh, someone's so screwed!

I took my phone out, and dialed a number... I opened my car and sat behind the wheel. Tapping my fingers, I waited for someone to pick up, "Four, It's me. Two of your men attack a girl I know. I need to know what is up..."
