Chapter(Hundred) Sixty Two: First

There was a soft smile splotched on Fernanda's lips as she made Becca sit beside her on the bed. Albeit her thoughts were quite muddled from trying to decipher Becca's sudden new interest, Fernanda still indulged that interest and she felt an unfathomable bliss coursing through her as she did.

It was the same wonderful feeling she always got when one of her family asks her for guidance. Fernanda's joy was immense and if that wasn't good enough, then she was willing to use this as a means to stall Becca from packing. 

" Well, " Fernanda started, her heart swelling. " I can assure you that I have the most uneventful life in the family, I would just bore you." 

Becca's eyes softened with fondness. " I highly doubt that." And she did doubt it. For some reason, Becca felt there was so much more to Fernanda than meets the eye.
