My Future Husband Bullied Me

"Hmm … the painting in your study room is even fake." Scarlett put her hand under her chin. "However, it was not me who forged this painting, but another antique counterfeiter who lived in Frianci."

"One of your antique flower vases is fake." Scarlett pointed at the vase in the dining room of the mansion.

Moments later, Scarlett observed an antique coin using a binocular. "This coin was not from 1700, but it looks like it was made last year."

Dante's face gotten darkens every time Scarlett finds counterfeits in his mansion. If he adds them up, it looks like Scarlett managed to identify ten counterfeits.

"Saro!" Dante's scream echoed through the mansion, stiffening all the subordinates around him.

Saro immediately ran towards Dante and asked, "What happened, Don?"

"Remove and destroy all these fake goods, then find the people who sold them to me!" Dante growled, "Ask them to repay my money!."

"Yes, sir!" Saro rushed away from Dante's presence and summoned some of his men to carry out Dante's orders.

Dante's subordinates had taken all the fake paintings, urns, and coins out of the mansion, then destroyed and burned them in the mansion's backyard.

"Dante." Scarlett hugged Dante from behind as they watched Dante's underlings destroy his antiques. "Why did you immediately believe what I said? What if I lied to you?"

Dante gripped Scarlett's arm tightly and pulled her to face him. "You lied to me?!"

Scarlett winced as she felt Dante's grip getting stronger. However, instead of showing a frightened expression, Scarlett laughed happily.

"Kidding! I am not lying! All of that things are one hundred percent fake. If you don't believe me, investigate the auctioneers individually." Scarlett added, "You're being too serious."

Dante exclaimed, "I never joke when it comes to money!"

"Ouch, you are acting too much. Losing a few million dollars will not make you suddenly poor."

When Dante released his grip, Scarlett rolled up her sleeves and protested. "Darling, look at what you've done. We are not married yet, but you have abused me."

"I'm such a pity woman who is going to marry a husband who is rude and grumpy." Scarlett pretended to wipe her dry tears. "If my dad finds out, he might want to rise from the grave and haunt you for life."

Scarlett's expression changed to confusion in a few seconds. "No. No. He doesn't even care if I die from being eaten by a hungry tiger, so he likely won't care if I get beaten to death by my husband."

Dante tut in anger. "Enough with playing! Why don't you go back to your residence?"

Scarlett smiled. "Weren't you the one who said you wanted to fuck me every night yesterday? If I go home now, then we could cancel the deal."

Dante massaged his forehead, which was starting to hurt. He didn't expect that his words, which wanted to make Scarlett feel humiliated, would backfire on him.

"Not tonight. I have important business now."

"How important is this business that you refuse an invitation from a beautiful woman like me?"

"None of your business," Dante called out to one of his underlings. "Take her to the guest room and lock her room from the outside. Make sure she doesn't run away."

Dante turned to leave while several men forced Scarlett into the guest room.

From a distance, Scarlett kept screaming, "You are such a trash husband! How can you let your wife be taken away by another man?! Dante! What if they do nasty things to me?!"

"Darlings! My hand still hurts because of you! Cerano, help me! My future husband bullied me! Find me another husband!"

Dante deliberately plugged his ears using earphones so he wouldn't hear Scarlett's screams which screeched further, and walked without looking back.

However, Dante stopped walking when he saw Cerano smoking beside the window. He seemed too used to hearing Scarlett's screams, so he didn't approach her immediately.

"You still here? Your master had called you," asked Dante.

Cerano put out his cigarette and chuckled. "Donna often acts dramatic, so it's better just to let her be for a while. She will calm down on her own."

"I thought you were afraid of her."

"She's scary when she's in a bad mood. However, she is not too hard on her subordinates under normal circumstances."

Dante had no interest in chatting further with Cerano, so he immediately left after saying, "You can ask the maid at the mansion for the medicine box. Treat her hands when your Donna's calm down."

Cerano smiled. "Thank you for your concern, sir."

"I don't care about her. I just want her to be quiet," replied Dante as he walked away from Cerano.

Dante tidied up his appearance in front of the mirror. He wore a gray suit paired with a black shirt. His disheveled appearance in Hamary immediately vanished and was replaced by a dazzlingly handsome figure.

Dante sprayed some vanilla-scented cologne before finally picking up a large parcel on the table.

He exited the mansion and walked towards another residential building at the back of the mansion.

The building was a little small but wasn't precisely modest either. The walls, which are dominated by white, have many intricate carvings and sparkling natural stones.

There was an expanse of rose and lavender gardens around the white building, so it didn't look as gloomy as the main mansion.

"Sir, Young Lady has been waiting for you since this afternoon." A middle-aged maid opened the door for Dante.

Dante, "I'm sorry, I have had a lot of business to do since morning, so I can only come now."

The maid—Mary—smiled gently. "Young Lady will understand. As long as you come, she is already happy."

"How has her health been lately?"

Mary, "Young Lady is fine. However, she caught a cold because Weisant was entering autumn, so the temperature was getting cold here."

"I will order people to install more heaters here." Dante looked at Mary. "Next time, call me immediately if she gets sick, even if she just has a cold."

Mary lowered her head. "I understand, Don."

Moments later, they arrived at the dining room door. Before Dante opened the door, he ordered Mary, "You may go."

Mary only nodded in response and immediately left Dante's presence.

Dante took a few deep breaths before he displayed a broad smile on his face.

"Illaria, I'm coming." When Dante opened the door, he saw a girl sitting in a dining chair alone. There was a three-tiered tart on the table and various dishes that were already getting cold.

"Daddy!"
