3 Chapter 3 the Marauders and his skills are known

Robins P.O.V 1972 Sept 23

We are headed back to the order HQ, after staying at the safehouse for a week were da was training me as he wanted me to get used to noticing the details and being alert by throwing different spells at me mostley stinging hex and immobulus spells and if it hits I have to wait for the spell dissipate, we are headed back today since it is my birthday, I am a little upset do to the fact I can't bring Teddy and Ursa with me, but da said they have to stay at the safe house as the pups can take care of them. As we can't apparate directly into HQ, we can only come as close as 100 feet so we to walk through the front door having to be let in, when we reach and knock the door opens and I see Fletcher opens the door with a smile as we are let in and I see some of the other members there with a sign reading Happy Birthday as I smile seeing the Frank Longbottom, his mother, Fletcher, the prewett brothers and Jakob Scamander who was friends with my birth father.

Mad eye "What do you say boy"

Robin "Thank you so much, I understand its difficult to be here but I really appreciate it""

Longbottom "No worries, since Dumbledore couldn't be hear, he sent me allowing me to leave the school for a few hours while I am here. Alice says to happy birthday we got your gift together, both of your gifts are in your room."

Fletcher "I got you 3 potion recipes of my own creation and Slughorn has been bugging me for 1 of them since found out, just don't give it to him."

As da eyes him making sure the potions aren't harmful as he knows have a passion for it as it's the only magic I can practice right now. When he gives the okay, I smile and thank fleacher, the prewett brothers gave me some candy and chocolate frogs, as I thank them as I rarely have treats. Jacob who gave me a copy of his fathers book, as they are all in the field of working with magical creatures him focused on those found in the amazon jungle where he spends most of the year. As we all enjoy our selves the party slowly dies down as they have to get back to thier duties, when I head to my room and see my other 2 presents. From Dumbledore he got me a book on spells instructions that can be used injunction with knives, on the inside he said not to use them unless with father as they can be dangerous and some don't need wands allowing me to use them. From Frank and alice they gave me peruvian instant darkness powder from Zonko's with a note to use it if in an emergency.

As I smile hopeful of the future.

1975 December 23 Order HQ

Over the years more of the order have been killed by death eaters, and Frank graduated and married Alice shortly after as they realised with everything that is happening that you never know whats going to happen. The other big event was that Dumbledore invited more students to be initiates in the order and when they graduate they will officialy join, as he can give them better protection and teachings of senior members. They were James potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and Lily Evens, the ones that needed it the most was the famous Black that was disowned from his family and Lily as she is muggleborn and could easily be targeted. I got along fine with James and Lily who I could see he liked her, had a freindly antagonistic relationship with Sirius, had the younger brother feeling of Remus who never talked about his family and didn't like Pettigrew as I had feeling he had no loyalty to the rest. I found out a few of their secrets from spying that da taught me, such as the fact the boys were planning to be Animagus a the beginning of the next year. I didn't know why they had the urgency to so I decided to stop snooping as they must have thier reasons.

Since I had gotten the book from Dumbledore, Da had me practicing with it, as it evovled my ability to use them as well of diveristy of attacks. The one I had practiced the most was the skill that allowed the knife to change direction mid flight allowing it to bend around targets or better follow a moving target. It was to my great surprise that not all the moves didn't involve magic and some needed training that I could do thanks to my practice. The one thing that bugged me was that their was a description of a special set of knives that allowed for different abilites be imbude with in them, the one I am most excited was the one that could cast spells like a wand, only with more limted as it can only affect itself and other knives. As we are the Order HQ during christmas break meaning more people have time off or have shifts giving them breaks to enjoy the holidays as we are the back enjoying the nice snow

Robin "Sirius I have been meaning to ask, I have heard stories but is hogwarts devided as they say, that even people of the same house are scared to talk afraid to be targets for the death eaters or being mistaken for death eaters."

as he looks at me and thinks of what he is going to say as he is the one I trust to tell me the most truth besides father as he doesn't care about school as much because it being Dumbledores territory and the others think I am to young to know the truth not knowing what Da has put me through.

Sirius "It's worse for slytherians the most as the other houses try the most to avoid them, then internally in all houses it has gotten more sullen over the years, from what I heard from freinds that ravenclaws is the most screwd from it as their intellect is getting in the way having almost the whole house grouping in small circles hiding from each other. Hufflepuff is the least affected as they are often the best socially and have trust in themselves knowing who is being honest and trusthworthy. Gryffindor is closer to huffelpuff but to be more honest it is more out of arrogence."

Robin "From what I heard of the houses that makes sense, what I don't fully understand is why slytherians are acting like that as it makes them more suspicious as if they act like that, they might as well join the death eaters as this will cause them to not be trusted even when Voldemort is taken down."

Sirius "True my opinion is they are not sure that he is going to win, and want to play both sides as i know a few their who will join them when they graduate like snivelous."

As I know who he is talking about and am a little surprised that they torment him as much as they do as that just driving a potential genius in potions to the enemy side, making me a little curious why Dumbledore allows it in his halls with little intervention

Sirius "Why don't you teach some of tricks you use with knives, that you are so good at"

Robin "As I told you before father forbade me to show them to anyone that hasn't graduated yet, as you know the rules in hogwarts no weapons, I am trying to learn a few tricks in case for when I am in school"

Sirius "Come on, your the best one with knives in the whole order, the only close is Fleacher and hes told you surpassed his level in them years ago, the only thing he has on you is hiding them and the amount. You know we have to protect ourselves out of school as well now that I am staying with the potters"

as we are talking the rest of his group arrives, knowing what we are talking about as this is a common discussion between us ever since they heard my nick name Fleacher game last year during our talks. The problem occurs that not many see the benefit of them besides da and Fleacher,as they are stuck in thier minds that both sides fight fair and da is trying to teach them it sometimes takes whatever it takes. Only da knows how far I have taken it, the rest still think it is a hobby, I highley doubt Dumbledore even read the book he gave me and just picked one from his library as when I asked da he said the book has a likelyhood that this is the only copy
