"Hey thumbs I have a question."
"What is it?" He said inside my head
"I'm curious why did you chase after me when we first met?" Thumbs smiled and said "oh I was just having fun and I did like that tree but not enough to kill you for it I ate earlier so I didn't need to eat either."
"Oh ok. I have another question then. How does exp distribution work for you and me?"
"What's exp?" He thought in my head.
"Oh yeah that's right it's experience points and that's what we get when we defeat things." I said.
"Oh well then from what you told me before just try speaking it." He said
"Companion exp distribution."

Thumbs: half exp per kill
"Oh this says you get half exp per kill But I bet I can get more than one companions to so I can get like a whole army."
"Or you can get powerful enough to fight army's and if I can get powerful with you then you could have two beings and could easily fight an army."He said in my head.
"Yeah but that could take awhile and I don't know if I can kill monsters before they kill me. I'm not strong enough yet and I need better weapons.inventory."

" I'm throwing out the hat!" I grabbed it and threw it down "Now i can take this tree to the farmers and they might buy it off of me I wonder if they have a forge there probably not but if they do I might be able to trade wood for getting one of them to teach me."
"But they might not just be regular farmers."
"Yeah , your right oh yeah I wonder if you have a status window and inventory like me. You should try it." He barked then a screen popped up in front of him it showed.

I looked around we were still in the same clearing I finished chopping down the tree after thumbs said it was ok then we built a fire to keep warm for the night then settled down. I looked up at the stars and thought this world has a lot more stars.
Yes it does have a lot of stars thought thumbs in my head then I laid my head down to go to sleep.
BADIIIIGG! "AAAHHH! What is it? what's happening? Am I late again?" I looked around and smiled and thought oh it wasn't a dream. I looked at the alert to see what it said 5 exp gained "what is this from I didn't kill anything in my sleep did I?"then I saw thumbs bringing two rabbits into camp the exp must have came from them so exp goes both ways I was hoping that was the case. I got up and threw a few more limbs on the fire I looked at the fire and saw that it was getting a lot bigger and hotter "observe" I said

This element came from the malice that the branch's had at being made into firewood
Thumbs grabbed the rabbits in its mouth and threw it threw the element and when it's came threw the other side I realized they were already skinned and now they were cooked too. The element looked at me and then came out of the fire and started coming towards me it was almost as tall as me and was getting hotter I backed up and then came up with an idea I backed towards the creek behind me and it followed I took the axe out of my inventory and stuck it's blade in the creek. The element looked at it and said in a raspy voice " that won't work just making a blade wet won't do nothing to me." I smiled and said "come closer and we'll find out won't we." It came towards me and then I grabbed the axe with two hands and splashed water out of the creek at it it hiss and sputtered it yelled out "noooo how could I not see that something so simple. Please let me live I can cook an-" I splashed more water on him and he sputtered out and went away. BADIIIIGG! 30 exp gained and 30 given to thumbs. "Sweet oh what's this?" I saw a crystal and a necklace where the element used to be. I reached down and picked them up they both felt warm in my hands. "Observe."

with this crystal you can enchant a weapon or piece of armor or you can use this in alchemy to make many potions.
Necklace of fire protection
With this necklace you can endure heat up to a very high level and can cast the basic fire spell firebolt
"Woah a magic spell awesome. Now I know magic and can cook anywhere anytime."
"Tap the spell. you might not even be able to use the spell." He's right I thought then I hit the spell.

This spell can cook food and enemies. Mana consumption: 15

"I can use it but just once before my mana is gone." I got up and got the rabbits and threw one out to thumbs he stuck out his paw and caught it and started to eat. "Observe" I said while looking at the rabbit.

This meat is medium quality. It was cooked by getting thrown through a fire elemental and skinned by the wolf thumbs
I started to eat and it was delicious now. So food can be taken care of by thumbs so I need to make us money and get good armor and weapons. That's our plan for the future.
