28 Who are you!?

Leo began to whistle happily as he ripped the magic cores from the burned bodies of the two goblin leaders and absorbed them.

[Magic core detected! (2)]

[Do you wish to absorb?]

[Yes or No]

'Yes'

Ding!

[You have chosen to absorb the magic core! (2)]

[Absorbing…]

Nodding his head in satisfaction, he was about to proceed with his next plan when he caught a glimpse of a shining red crystal around the neck of the bulky goblin leader.

'What is that?' He questioned and took the red crystal off the goblin's neck. His eye turned blue as he used his newly evolved skill [Advanced Inspect] on the red crystal.

[Tears of Flame

formed from a Queen of Fire Hornet's molten tears. After cooling for years, it took on the shape of a crystal. The energy released by the crystal aids in strengthening the output and power of fire.

'What!' He shouted inwardly in shock, not expecting to encounter something so valuable.  This gives him much greater satisfaction in killing them. 'Well, since you died, I will be taking this hehe'

After acquiring the crystal, he began his next scheme, which involved taking control of the remaining goblins and creating his own tribe!

"Garw Garw Garw" (Stop you all at once!) Leo shouted loudly into the air, his voice spreading throughout the battlefield, causing all the goblins to halt what they were doing and look over at the center of the battlefield.

"Garw Garw Garw" (Your chief has all died in my hand! If you don't want to meet the same demise as them, submit to me! So choose wisely.) He grinned, lifting two charcoal-beheaded heads in his hand into the air. Those two heads were the two goblin leaders who had met their end after taking a blast of flame from Leo.

"Garw Garw!" (Chief killed run!"

"Garw! Garw!" (Run! Run!)

"Garw Garw" (Run Where Where?)

Chaos ensued on the battlefield as the goblins began to panic, seeing their chief had been killed. They all began to scatter, running into the forest, but that was soon cut short when one of the goblins, running away, was struck in the back by a thrown axe, instantly killing him.

"Garw Garw!" (I never said y'all could run—either submit or die!) Leo said it in a threatening tone. To send a message to the remaining goblins that they shouldn't even consider escaping, he decapitated another goblin.

Frightened about being the next to be killed if they decided to run, all the goblins throw out the idea of fleeing. They all went on their knees and lowered their heads, showing that they accepted him as their new chief.

Ding!

[You have acquired a new title, [Goblin Chief]]

[Goblin Chief

By killing the previous goblin chiefs of both tribes and making the goblins submit to you, you have become the new chief of both tribes. What a sneaky little fellow you are!

+Passive Skill: [Leader's Authority]

[Leader's Authority: Level 1

Users gain the ability to give commands which your troops will feel the need to follow.

Requirement:

- Only those identified as your troops will be subject to this power.

- To be identified as your troop, they must willingly serve you.

Note: The troops could sometimes disobey your order. As you level up the skill, this will be less likely to happen.

Identified troop:

Goblins: 54 goblin minions, 4 goblin warriors]

'Leader's Authority, huh… That's nice.' Leo opened up the description of the skill, showing the skill function, and skimmed through it. When he saw what the skill could do, he realized just how useful it could be. He won't have to worry as much about those who submit to him disobeying his orders.

"Garw Garw Garw" (Good, you all made the right choice by choosing to submit to me. Now clean up the place. This will be our home!) Leo commanded. For now, he decided to use the village as the tribe's base and later create a lengthy tunnel that would connect to his cave.

Now that he thought about his home, he looked up at the sky to see the sun starting to set.

'I should probably go home. However, I should first assign a sub-leader to keep an eye on these guys' Thinking so, he looked over at the goblins, trying to see who I should pick.

"Garw Garw" (Hey you over there.) He called out to a goblin that was sneakily trying to snatch the axe of the bulky goblin.

The goblin froze in place and dropped the axe into the ground. He must have thought he was going to die after being caught, as he had a frightened expression, but Leo had a different plan for this guy.

Grabbing the axe from the ground, he placed it in the small goblin's hand.

"Garw Garw Garw" (For now, you will be the sub-leader of this place. You wanted this axe, right? If you do a good job, I will let you keep it.) Leo smirked

The goblin, although still showing signs of fear, quickly nodded his head and accepted the axe. "Garw!" (Me OK!)

"Garw!" (Good! Then I will leave it to you.)

…

Gulp!

"Why is Daddy still not home?" Kene gulped down the rabbit meat and asked her mother with a hint of worry. Usually, her daddy should have come home at this time, but he is nowhere to be seen.

"Um, your dad may be doing something. I am sure he will come back  soon."Mia, who was cooking rabbit meat on a pan over a fire, replied, but she was also a little worried. 'Did something happen to him?'

Just as they were beginning to worry, they heard footsteps at the entryway.

Step Step

"Daddy is back!" The worry that Kene had quickly gone away as she ran up to the entrance to greet her dad with a smile

"Daddy Welco—Eh? Who are you!?"
