5 Ceremony

Tango had a chance, better than most apparently but near impossible. He would have to test this right away. Though it was not the time.

Tango had one more underlining problem everyone around him was birds, including him. He himself was a large metal bird who had bat like hands attached to its wings. He knew how his body function but he had very little control over it. So he needed even more information, but this information would be dangerous to ask. It could even expose that something is wrong with him.

He was chewing on some seeds that the crow brought, when a door opened. The Monk{Priest it isn't important} finally arrived and walked to the alter. Tango's mother soon followed opening up a door near where Tango sat. She called out telling everyone to silence,"Son go to the alter, lets get this over with." Tango was surprised when she didn't even hide her disdain in her voice.

He stood up and followed the directions. Arriving at the alter the monk then began a speech. "We are here today, for the grand ceremony. I address the atawashi boy, What is your Chosen name?" Tango had his name, the same name he had in his last life. "My name is Tango Fengii, I greet elder." "Very well, Tango Fengii are you sure you wish for that name. That name is not exactly fitting for one of your position." Tango raised and his head looking at the Monk, he stared a question into the Monk. 'What the Fuck did you say?' The Monk was surprised by Tango's glare, but he continued with his job. It was not his job to discipline this child. "We shall check your affinities and your souls life-force, this will tell us how much potential you have."

The monk took out a clear orb that would light up colors depending on the affinity. Although it could detect pure aura the aura would appear clear. When Tango saw this he mentally facepalmed and quickly realized that the people around him just might be bird brains literally. The monk told Tango to hold the orb and it will sense your elemental affinity, Tango followed along at the expense of his sanity. The orb cleared even more become almost perfectly see through and reflecting Tango.

This was the first time he saw a full reflection of himself. He was a large metallic bird, with silver eyes matching his feathers. He thought he looked quite handsome, his feathers could use a polish if they are like metal. The monk interrupted Tango's 'show' and announced Tango's affinity. "You have no natural affinities, your soul has a high life-force. You can become a cultivator but your training will be slow and difficult." Tango rolled his eyes to the monk, and got ready to walk away.

"Tango Fengii, My son come over here." His mother called him, she was much like himself but closer to a golden hue.
