On contrary to popular belief death isn't very negative, in fact he is rather focused and even incredible optimistic besides some nihilistic comments. Tango knew that Eunoric would watch him through his various lifetimes, Tango was apparently the only truly deathless person. There was an afterlife but Tango would never reach it at least he couldn't stay for very long his soul would be rejected and pushed out back into a new life. Eunoric always had to explain this part to Tango in case it is one of his forget the past episodes. Tango was forced into recklessness if he remembered his immortality but after so many tests with Eunoric they found a good middle ground to prevent an episode full of angst or entitlement. Eunoric didn't like to see his friend like that and neither did tango when he remembered those lives.
