Serenity is a witch living in a world where humans and supernatural creatures live together in harmony… or that is how it’s supposed to be. The Rising marks the 100th year of the treaty that ended the wars between the five main species and this year along with the celebration a new Alpha is announced among the werewolf pack that was particularly responsible for the treaty. Rumors spread on how this untimely new alpha could change things and what that would mean for the peace treaty. Serenity finds herself in an awkward situation as the new alpha claims her as his mate in front of thousands of people during the announcement of him accepting the title of Alpha. If the rumors weren’t bad before they certainly are now that the new alpha has claimed a mate outside of the werewolf community.. something that has never happened to any of the alpha bloodlines.
