2 Gi Template

'Find me! Clover.'

'Find me!'

'W-What?' Clover though in a half dreaming state. 'Mom? Is that you?'

Clover's eyelids began to flicker as they gradually parted open.

Once his eyes were fully opened and focused, he realized, he could see nothing...absolutely nothing.

He looked around, but there was darkness. He looked up, still darkness. He even looked at the damp and cold floor beneath him, but saw nothing.

"Where am I?", he murmured. Bringing his left hand in front of his visionless eyes, "Did I die?...I can't be. I was alive a moment ago.

"I knocked out that guy and I-I was holding Mom and she told me something...What was it?"

Clover pondered over the thought before coming to a revelation, "That's right! I need to find mom. But first, I need to find myself!"

Clover's words were justified in his current situation. He had no clue of where he could be...he could see nothing, not even himself.

*Purr*

A soft rumbling sound appeared beside Clover. He turned his head to the left by instinct. Although, at this point it was a waste of energy. What was there to see?

Suddenly, he felt a rubbing sensation on his thigh.

Clover flinched at the sensation, but calmed down as he touched what was rubbing against him.

It felt furry and soft, also fragile as he attempted to guide it Infront of him.

"Aera? Is that you?", Clover asked.

"Meow."

"Ahh! It is you!"

Clover was overjoyed when he heard that 'Meow'. After all, he could not mistake the 'Meow' of his own cat.

But that joy was short-lived as he once again became aware of his current situation.

"I don't suppose you know where we are?", Clover asked Aera. "Ehh, who am I kidding asking a cat that type of question?."

"Meow," Aera replied.

"Yeah, I thought you'd say that."

Clover stood up while holding Aera with both hands. He placed Aera on his shoulder and took a step.

*Clang*

The sound of metal hitting something hard resounded in the dark space Clover was in as he kicked something.

"What was that?", Clover said while almost loosing his balance.

He stooped down and placed his hands on the ground trying to feel for whatever he kicked.

His hands hit something warm and rough. He took it up and started touching it all over, inspecting it's dimensions.

It felt circular with a long slender protrusion from one of it's arcs.

'Is this a frying pan?', Clover though after fully inspecting the object. 'Did they both end up here with me? And how is it still warm? Where's the other one?'

Clover felt around the floor for the other frying pan but without success. He didn't give up and started moving around searching for it, still unable to find it.

He soon gave up and stood once again.

Bringing his hand to his chin, he began thinking.

'How can I get out of here? Wherever "here" is.' Clover though of leaving this place. 'I could just walk until I find something, it's a longshot, but it's all I got.

'On the other hand, I can't see anything so I would be walking blind.'

Clover considered his options and realized he had only two: 'Sit here and wait for someone or something to find him' or 'Walk around aimlessly in this pitch black darkness in search for an exit.'

After weighing in the pros and cons of his options, he made his decision.

"Looks like I'm going this way then," Clover chose to walk in the unending darkness before him.

He chose the direction he wanted to move in, forward...

With his mind made up, he held on to his frying pan with Aera on his shoulder and stroded along his way.

Clover didn't get far though, after the first few steps, he hit something that obstructed his path.

He grunted lightly while holding the bridge of his nose.

"Huh?" he said in confusion.

He brought up his vision and his eyes widened at what he saw.

Small cracks along a rectangular perimeter were sending beams of light through as they entered Clover's eyes.

The rectangular perimeter of light beams started growing inwards in size from one side.

Finally! Clover could see, not because of the fact that he was in the presence of light, but because he realized that it was a door being opened.

He lifted his forehand to cover his face and spuinted as the sudden light grew harsh towards his dilated pupils.

His eyes adjusted to the light and he gawked at the pure white light emitting from the door.

The light felt warm like a mother's embrace on a cold winter's night. It was bright too. A contrast to the endless darkness behind him which was cold and dead, such a darkness could burden the soul of the lighthearted.

Without delay, Clover stepped inside.

Once Clover was on the other side of the door, he dropped his jaw at the sight he was beholding.

He stood in the middle of a grass field with grass as green as watermelons. There weren't any flowers, any shrubs, trees or plants, just the greenery of the grass around him.

The natural smell of grass and the occasional rough undertones of dirt and manure seeped into Clover's nostrils with every breath he took.

After admiring the scene and the aroma around him he brought his vision upwards, Clover felt disappointment at what he saw, it was mild but still there. Although disappointed, he couldn't help but drop his jaw a little lower.

There, as he looked before him, was a tall and broad three floor building arcing around him.

He turned to look behind him and saw that it wasn't an arc but a complete circle. The whole building was stretched around him like an arena.

He also noticed the absence of the door that he recently entered.

But there was another thing Clover noticed that grew question marks in his head.

On the three storied building, there were people. Not only that, some were flying, others were releasing some kind of energy from their hands. All manner of unusual things were happening.

The most unusual of all was that everyone was staring at something...

...They were staring at Clover. Even though they were so far away that they looked like a match stick held at an arms length, Clover could still feel their eyes staring curiously at him.

He wasn't bothered much by this, but the stares rendered him paralyzed under their darting eyes.

Clover glanced directly Infront of him and saw three figures approaching. He couldn't make out much from how far they were.

As they got closer he could deduce general details: he realized they were all men.

They got even closer and he saw that they wore silver armor with belts that rested a sword on their hips. Their trousers were black with red cotton shirts tucked in, except from the man in the middle, his shirt was blue.

Finally, their was a mere several paces between clover and the three men. He could now make more defined details.

The men walked in a synchronized fashion with orderly movements. They were now directly Infront of Clover. Clover raised his head to meet the gaze of the men as they blocked out the sun's rays, casting a shadow on his face.

A feeling of intimidation rained over Clover as he stood still and silent, awaiting the first words that would inevitable exit their mouths.

"Do you speak English?", the man standing in the middle finally questioned Clover.

Clover loosened his breaths after hearing what the man had to say and his expression became eased.

"Yes," Clover said. It was a simple reply, but to Clover, that word held weight when he uttered it.

"Great! My name is Edward Flelen, the central veil guardian of the Gi Template," the man spoke with a casual formality that complimented his rough, deep yet kind voice. "And you are...?"

"Oh...uhh. I am Clover Tychos, a high school senior. Actually, I'm no one really." Clover instinctively bowed for a moment when delivering his introduction.

"Clover is it?" Edward practiced his name. "I assume that's your weapon and your familiar you have there." the man glanced at the frying pan and Aera respectively.

Clover lifted his frying pan and looked at it trying to make an intuitive determination.

"I guess it could be considered a weapon," Clover said, unconvincingly.

He then looked at Aera and then back at Edward, "I have no idea what a familiar is, but Aera is my pet."

"I guess it isn't then." Edward turned around and Clover saw his black cape that draped over his muscular shoulders, "Alright then. Follow me if you will."

Clover was chary to follow Edward. But he figured that he might as well in order to find out where he is and also to find his Mother and Hara.

They walked across the field of grass and approached a door that led inside the building and went through it.

Upon entering, Clover saw that the inside was busy with people walking along the halls, chatting and discussing amongst themselves.

He found it a bit difficult to focus on Edward as his attention drifted from one room to another, amazed by everything he saw.

From people flying, to materializing things from thin air. Weapons that were carried around such as bows, spears, swords and even ninja tools.

Clover walked up two flights of stairs and through some halls until Edward led him into a large vacant room except from a colossal crystal chandelier and a blue carpet that led to a throne like platform with a single extravagantly designed chair.

In that chair, seated a man with grey hair and a dull expression. He wore a golden crown and was dressed in a purple robe decorated with many jewelries.

Beside him was a scrawny looking man with a face that would look alright if it didn't try to smile. But it did.

Edward knelt on one knee on the blue carpet with Clover standing behind him, he placed his right hand across his torso when he was a few meters away from the throne.

"Greetings my Lord." Edward said. "I apologize for my sudden appearance."

"You are excused" the man sitting on the throne said as he lifted his arm and brought it back down. His tone was that of one who spoke with authority, his voice rumbled as thunder throughout the large room, "Now, why have you come here?"

Edward raised his head and stood with a straight posture.

"This boy right here, has entered through the central veil and by the looks of it, he seems to be a Trifos," he said while turning slightly in Clover's direction.

"The central veil you say?" the man replied, raising an eyebrow. "But no one has entered through that veil for a few decades now."

"Yes. Those were my exact thoughts your majesty." Edward added.

The man sitting on the throne touched his forehead with his fingertips and sighed.

"Young Man. I am the acting Lord of the Gi Template, Skyvent Template." he spoke to Clover. "Please step forward and introduce yourself."

Clover walked Infront of Edward while Aera finally jumped from his shoulder on to the ground and stood beside him. He watched as this happened before speaking.

"I am Clover...Clover Tychos. I'm a 16 year old high schooler." he said.

"Might I ask how you managed to enter through the central veil?" Skyvent asked.

"To be honest, I don't exactly know. One moment I was at my house, and then the next, I was in a dark space and I somehow stumbled on a door that led me to this place."

"Hmm..." Skyvent said, dissatisfied. "Edward, it seems this boy is of no interest to me. You may take him to the academy to be appraised."

"Very well. I shall do just that." Edward said. Standing up while keeping his hand across his chest.

Clover and Edward both exited the room and went on the other side of the building with Aera following, they walked down a few flights of stairs until they came upon a massive grilled iron gate that opened as they approached it and went through to the outside. This time, Clover wasn't on the field enclosed by the building, he were outside of the building's perimeter.

Clover saw that the building he exited looked more like a castle rather than an arena. He then looked onwards, there was a town with people strolling through the bustling streets and beyond that were mountains and forests stretching as far as he could see.

Clover and Edward both walked along a dirt track until they came upon a huge glass dome. It's diameter was around the size of a football field with a height of 84 feet. The translucent glass of the dome reflected the light from the sun, scattering the rays of light around it.

"Are we going in there?" Clover asked, gesturing at the glass dome

"Yes," Edward replied.

"What for?"

"To appraise your magical attributes."

"I don't have any magic," Clover was surprised at what Edward told him.

'Magical attributes? He must be kidding? Right?' Clover though.

"Sure you do. Everything does." Edward replied, in an assured manner.

Clover suddenly got a little more excited at what he was about to experience. Magic? That's just something his father told him stories about. Hearing Edward say this made Clover start to believe his father's words.

Upon approaching the dome building. Clover realized that he forgot to ask something, a question that he should have ask the moment he arrived at this place.

"By the way Mister Flelen. Where am I? Did I teleport to another world or something."

"Please, just Edward," he dashed a grin at Clover. "You're from Earth right?"

"Yes."

"Don't worry, you're still on Earth. Only, in different realm." Edward began to explain. "You know that door that you came through to get here. It's called a veil. Veils are breaches in dimensions that allows one to travel to different realms.

"Right now, we're on the border of two realms: The spiritual realm and the Soul realm. This realm is a sort of limbo realm that allows one to see both the Spiritual and the Soul realms. The Earth has three main realms, in fact there can only be three major realms anywhere else. There can be multiple dimensions but no more, or less than three main realms."

Clover's mind was filled with wonder as he absorbed the information given to him. Of course, his father had told him stories about things such as this. But never in his life did he ever believe that it was all real.

They finally made it to the glass dome and went inside.

The inside of the dome was crowded with people wearing similar designed uniform as they walked through halls and doorways, finally they entered a room that with many books placed on shelves.

'Is this a library.' Clover though.

They walked through isles of bookshelves until they ended up at the back of the room and went through a red curtain in a doorframe that barred of the 'Library' from the backroom.

In the backroom was a woman with red hair tied up into a ponytail sitting behind a wooden counter.
