4 4. The train ride and the sorting
(Susan Bones pov)
'Today is the day I'll be getting my school stuff, I can't wait till my aunt takes me to Diagon Alley and helps me get the books I want.'

'We're here, at Diagon Alley, my aunt said that we're going to Gringotts first to get the money we need and to get me my heir ring.'
After we got our money and the heir ring we went to get a trunk for me so I could put all my stuff in there, then we went to get a pet for me and a nice Snow Owl catched my attention, it wasn't kike the other Snow Owls, this one was a bit darker, but she was still beautifull, I decided to name her Noctis. After we got the rest of our stuff we went to Ollivanders to get my wand and a wand-holster, after 5 wands we got the perfect one for me, Ollivander told me it was made of spruce wood with a dragonheartstring core, it was 14" and had a hard flexibility, after we made our purchase we walked outside and I saw a guy gaping at me, I don't know why, but my heart melted after seeing him and I quickly walked past him with a huge blush appearing on my face.
After we got home my aunt asked me what that was all about and I told her that as I saw the boy that something in my heart and mind clicked, like he was the missing piece I've been searching for all along, my aunt said that it was probably love at first sight for both of us, now I just have to wait until the train ride and I hope I can see him again.

(Susan pov)
'I'm standing on platform 9 3/4 waiting for my bestfriend Hannah Abbott, as soon as I saw her I ran up to her and gave her a hug, she asked me about the last couple of weeks and what happened and I told her all about my trip to Diagon Alley and the boy I saw, when I felt something in my heart tugging me and telling me to look a certain direction, Hannah heard me not talking anymore and saw me standing in a daze looked the same direction and saw him, I wanted to bury my head in shame because she asked me if I was already picturing our marriage and the kids we we're going to have, the next thing I knew she pulled me with her and told me to ask if we could sit in the coupé we we're going to, she then opened the door and I asked in my sweetest voice if we could sit there and who I saw made me blush uncontrollably.

(Diablo pov)
After I turned my head to the door to see who was asking if they could sit there, my brain malfunctioned again and I said "of course you can sit here, here let me help." And I pulled out my wand and levitated their cases onto the racks above our heads, I then decided to introduce me to the two lovely girls in front of me (well, 1 lovely girl and 1 breathtaking girl).
"Diablo Morningstar at your service." I said with a bow and a kiss on their hands, one of the girls turned tomato red and managed to stutter out her name, Susan Bones, I couldn't help but say that she was really beautifull and that the stutter made her cuter in a dreamy voice, I thought that I said that in my head, but looking at her now even redder face I facepalmed myself and think that I fucked up, then the other girl came to the rescue by saying that her name was Hannah Abbott, she asked me if I was the son of Adam Morningstar, the first male quarter-veela in a 1000 years, I said proudly yes, let me introduce myself a bit better, my full name is Diablo Lillith Morningstar, you may ask why Lilith, well, my parents thought I was a girl at first, but were shocked to find out I was male, because I'm a half-veela, my mom sensed the bond immediately after I was born and thought I was a girl, so they decided to give me the name Lilith, but I turned out to be a boy, resulting in the first name Diablo and the middle name Lillith. On the other hand I heard a lot about your aunt dear Susan, I said and immediately thought oh god why did I say it like that, I'm weird, what will she think of me.
After a couple of hours talking about our families and our likes and dislikes, (well mostly me and Susan were talking, Hannah was sitting on the side with a smirk both me and Susan didn't see), they told us that we were going to be at hogwarts in a little bit, so I excused myself for a moment so that they could change into their robes, after I got back and the girls walked out of the coupé it seemed that they had a little chat seeing the huge blush on Susan's face, I changed into my robes quickly and we went out of the train.

(Susan pov)
As soon as Diablo walked out of the coupé to give us the space to change into our robes Hannah immediately asked me if I was in love with him and I said "I think so, I'm not entirely sure about it, but when I talk to him, it just feels like I'm at home and that I found the last puzzle piece to my life, it's so soothing to be honest, Hannah immediately did a small victory dance and told me that she knew it since that we walked into here, lastly she asked me if I thought if Diablo would be interested in dating me, I said "I don't think so, who would want to date someone as boring as me."
Hannah said that she was 100 percent sure that he would want to date me if he could, after our little talk we came out of the coupé, Hannah with a smug smile and me with a huge blush on my face.

The first thing I heard when I stepped out of the train was "Firs years here, firs years here, follow me firs years, no more than four a boat." When I looked at who was saying that I saw a half giant look at us and gesturing at us to follow him, I grabbed the hands of Hannah and Susan and pulled them with me towards the boats on the shore and I helped them in first and then I sat down myself and we started talking about books and I heard Susan and Hannah talk about the new muggle books that have been released in the past 6 years, like Twilight, The hunters apprentice, summoner and the secrets of the immortal Nicolas Flamel (which doesn't have any of his secrets in it) and I told them that I was the one who wrote those books and they looked at me as if I was telling them I was god, it was funny to see their reactions and Susans reaction was really cute, then Hannah asked me if I had a girlfriend, I told her that I don't have a girlfriend and she almost screamed "Ha I knew it, Susan you still have a chance." I blushed hearing that and asked them what house they think they'll be in and they both said Hufflepuff, they asked me which I would land in and I said that I have no idea especially since I'm really loyal to the people I love, while giving a wink to Susan, seeing her turn red was wort it and I said that I also have the knowledge to be a Ravenclaw, when I said that I saw Susan turn sad, so I said, I'd rather be in Hufflepuff with you my lovely Susan, to which she turned happy and then she became really red and burried her head in Hannah's shoulder.
We reached the shore and were leaded into the castle by someone named professor McGonnagall, she lead us into a small room and said that she will come get us when they're ready in the Great Hall, the next moment there were ghost flying all around, but one of the ghosts caught my attention and it seems that she had sensed me too and she just looked flabbergasted and then broke into a really sweet smile, which shocked the other ghosts. But then she told in not a small voice to the other ghosts how I was a descendant of all the four houses and wit that a descendant from her, which cast an ever greater shock to all the ghosts, but not as much as all the students and professor McGonnagall who just walked into the room, she then asked us to form a straight line and then to follow her, we walked into the Great Hall under the gazes of everyone, she then proceeded to put a worn out hat onto a three-legged stool, then the hat began to sing and after the hat was done with singing the professor named out "Abbot, Hannah.", Hannah went to sit on the chair and after a small moment of silence the haid screamed "Hufflepuff.", then the professor called out "Bones, Susan.", I wished her luck and she sat on the stool the hat almost immediately said "Hufflepuff.", the professor then went on and eventually landed on "Malfoy, Draco.", the hat didn't even touch his head and screamed "Slytherin.", then came the dreaded moment she said "Morningstar, Diablo.", I saw Hannah and Susan cheering me on from the Hufflepuff table and when the professor put the hat on my head it said in my head that I was truly peculiar, he said that he couldn't get into my head and see my characteristics, so I told the hat I was a born occlumens and that seemed to shock the hat, but not as much as when I told it that I was a descendant of all four houses, he asked me how, I said/asked, 'reproduction?', he laughed at that answer and asked me where I would like to be sorted, I said that I wanted to go to Hufflepuff, because there I at least have some friends.
On the outside everybody was patiently waiting for the hat to speak, McGonnagall was almost ready to pull of the hat from my head when it shouted. "Hufflepuff."
The Hufflepuff table stood up and cheered as loud as they could, after I sat down next to Susan the professor named a couple of other names when she stopped for a moment and almost in slowmotion said, "Potter, Harry.", the Hall became so silent, you could hear a pin drop, after the hat was put on his head, you could almost hear him say, "not slytherin, not slytherin.", it seemed to work, since the hat screamed out, "GRYFFINDOR.", the Gryffindor table broke out into a loud applause and loud cheers, after the professor was done naming everyone, she rolled up the parchment and took away the stool and the hat, then the Headmaster gave a speech about which areas were off-limits and dangerous after that he clapped his hands and food started appearing on the table and ghosts started to come out off the wals and tables, our house ghost is called Fat Friar, when he saw me he almost 'ran' to me and bowed and said "welcome to Hogwarts young Morningstar.", which made everyone on the table look weird at me, next came the other house ghosts, named Nearly Headless Nick, The Grey Lady and The Bloody Baron and they all wished me a good stay here in Hogwarts and they all welcomed me to Hogwarts.
After dinner was over, our prefect asked us to follow her and she led us towards the dungeons towards our common room, apparently we have to find the right vat (A/N: without the rum) and beat it in the rythm of Helga Hufflepuff, when we went inside we were met with a truly gorgeous common room, we had a lot of plant which gave it a nice environment and it made you feel safe, peacefull and at home, then our prefect told us that the girls bedrooms are off-limits to us boys, but not the other way around, so I looked at Susan and sent her a wink, to which she blushed, a lot, then we were told to pick our bedroom, as soon as I picked one and went in, I saw my stuff all there and both my phoenixes in owl and cat form as not to draw attention, I was too tired to even change out of my robes, I immediately fell asleep.
