9 New Weapon

"This is bad commander we are surrounded. We are outnumbered and judging by estimates, enemies numbered at least a hundred and were scattered everywhere, there is nowhere to run."

Black Vendetta said through the team chat.

"Sorry commander, I led you all again to another trouble because of my carelessness. I treat you all to a high class restaurant later on and it will be my treat."

"Soda, this is not the right time to say those things."

Luo Ming's head was in an ache hearing such things in this crucial moment.

"Okay enough blabbering. Since I am in a good mood today because I will be securing a rare kind of shield later after you give that shield, I give you a chance Soda to voluntarily hand over that item that should've belonged to us and no one will get hurt or else the second option is the thing that you wouldn't like. Think about it."

Blood Lust said to Soda who in a calm tone but there was a hint of threat behind the man's words.

"But hey, where's Lin Fei?"

Luo Ming suddenly realized that Lin Fei had gone missing. She was beside them a moment ago.

If they were about to be involved in an uneven fight, an expert such as Lin Fei would be their hope of survival. But now that Lin Fei is nowhere to be found, doom for sure is soon to come.

"Who the hell are you talking about miss? You're only five in your party. By the way, if you have someone to be blamed, blame your friend Soda in interfering with us. Blood Lust said as he signals his teammates to ready their chants and the position of assassins to make their move after giving off the signal.

Lin Fei who was absent in everyone's watch suddenly made an appearance.

"And where exactly you have gone Lin Fei? I thought you ran away and left us."

Luo Ming who was nearly out of determination suddenly had a glimpse of hope in her eyes. If it comes down to a fight, Luo Ming was ready to fight to death for her teammates and friends eventhough the odds aren't clear in favor to them.

Now that Lin Fei was now here, she somehow had a hope that they will endure this ambush and escape safely at the very least. Moreover, Lin Fei was still an expert whom their team can rely on based on the absurd strength she had shown earlier from the wolf monsters' assaults.

Lin Fei was looking merrily at her new pair of gauntlet-like weapon that seemingly replaced her previous longsword weapon as she wants to test her new weapon and new prowess of her skills. She feels that these pair of gauntlet weapons suits her fighting style since she was a brawler type of a woman in the real world so many described her as boyish in real life. And also a short-tempered one.
