The Man with the blue cardigan

Running hastily and with a worried face, Mia wanted to have another chance to live, another purpose of living... But she was utterly shattered by the betrayal of the person she thought was her LIFE, her only PURPOSE of living, James.... Water! Water! and then a silhouette of a man with a blue cardigan coming to save her.... Who is he? said Mia in her mind...

The man had a beautiful and mesmerizing black hazel eyes, a fair skin, pitch black hair, great body and toned muscles. The man took her to his house which was a big bungalow filled with trees and lively flowers, he fed her, changed her clothes (don't get dirty thoughts 😉) and gave her medicine. The next morning when she woke up, the man had already left but left a note which said, "You may not know me, but I know your pain and ending your life is not the solution... You still haven't experienced the great wonders life has to offer -XXX Owen". Then, she saw a hot cup of coffee with a heart shaped on top of it. On seeing this Mia said to herself, " Who in the world is this man? He doesn't even know me and yet shows care and affection towards me. Maybe he is sent by the God's to let me find another purpose of living"

Mia sighed and dressed up to leave.

Just then an old man who is the Butler of Owen told her that his Master had said that she is welcome to come to Mr. Owen's villa anytime. She expressed words of gratitude to him and his Master and left the villa.

On reaching home, Mia missed the warm and peaceful atmosphere at Owen's villa.

The next day, she went to work. She worked as an interior designer in Reeves Design Corp. However, she was in the verge of being late and also there was going to be a new director who was rumoured to be strict and diligent. She was terrified of the scolding that she would get from her new boss. Slowly, she entered into the director's office and when she saw her new boss, she was stunned.

Looking sad, Owen approached Mia with slow and steady steps and asked her, "Don't you remember me? ". Mia was surprised as she did not expect that the first thing he would ask would be about that. Mia responded by saying, " Yes, I remember you very well. You are the one that saved me the other day, if you weren't there who knows whether I will stand here today or not"

On hearing this, Owen's expression changed from happy to sad. Mia could not understand why his eyes were filled with sorrow. Owen told her to leave the room with a harsh tone.
