Serefina raised her eyebrows when she heard that. "You hugged him?" A sinister smile appeared on her red lips. "How many times have I warned you until all of my words couldn't get through that thick skull of yours?"

Serefina had told Lana countless times to not let her feelings toward Kace spread like a disease in her heart, but in the end, who would be able to control someone's feelings?

"It was just a hug." Lana was being stubborn and still felt unfair because of such a strong reaction from both Serefina and Kace. "Why? Have you never hugged him?"

In her frustration, Lana raised an absurd question about this situation. Perhaps, based on their normal relationship, Serefina and Kace would have shared a hug or two in their centuries of life, but apparently it wasn't the case for them and Lana had asked the wrong question. 

"Why should I hug him?" Serefina furrowed her eyebrows as her nose scrunched at the idea of her hugging Kace.
