182 THE RESULT

The night of the mask party with fireworks would have been perfect for Raine if it wasn't for Serefina ruining it with her horrible information about Raine's fate.This soured Raine's mood for days. She talked less and only became a bit more talkative when conversing with Torak.

During those days, Raine would be accompanied by Calleb.

"Hey, don't you want to see the result of your entrance exam?" Calleb elbowed Raine's arm lightly.

They were watching a cartoon show in the living room since Raine wasn't in a mood to draw something. She had been sullenly spending her afternoons eating all the snacks that she could find in the fridge.

Once again Serefina disappeared. No one saw her after the party. Even Torak's hunters were unable to locate her. That wasn't surprising news though, knowing Serefina was a great pure blooded witch.
