Chapter 1: Introductions

You're probably thinking "This must be an average romance or Slice of life novel". Aww, bloody hell no. Trust me, that's what I thought before my life changed, almost COMPLETELY! Oh, sorry....I literally forgot about introductions... introducing myself, whatever. So, anywho. I'm an average 6th grade student. My name is Sree. I know, I know. Weird name, right? It comes from the name of a Hindu goddess, basically. Okay, so....I go to "Plymouth Scholars", a charter school. Ugh, uniforms. They suck! But! At least we have skirts! And those adorably soft cardigans! Aah! I love them! So....let's begin from....the beginning!

September 15th, 2023

I walked into the classroom. It was really aesthetic. There were paintings, art, and all sorts of things in the room that make the whole room have this...cute vibe to it. I cautiously sat down in a random seat, and set my binders and things down. I was quiet for about the entire 15 minutes, until everyone arrived. I saw this Japanese girl, and this Indian girl talking to each other. They noticed me and we started to talk. The Japanese one asked me "So...uhm..hi. What's your name?" I replied with a simple "I'm Sree...and, what's your name?". I stuttered a bit, due to my extremely introverted personality. After a while, I get comfortable with talking to them. Apparently, the indian one...her name is Sara, and the Japanese one is Nichika. We became fast friends, and I even started talking to some of the boys, who seemed nice enough at first.

I then became friends with many other girls. Hannah, Alyssa, Alison, Yoyo, Laisha, Vennela, and so on. We all became a huge friend group of the entire population of girls in 6th grade, while the boys had two separate friend groups. My teachers are pretty nice too. I sometimes talk to them about my drama, and past love life. *I sigh* I just wish I could have someone like me back, you know? A chance at love.
