"Dave..." I called in a very weak voice. This was my greatest fear. His voice seemed like a dream. The thought of having lost the company I was protecting all this while was scaring.

"You heard me right. This company's new owner is me. You have no rights, no power over it any more." Dave repeated.

"What are you talking about? That can not be. I am the sole owner of this company! This belongs to me and mother. I am the heiress!" I yelled.

"Yell all you want. Shout! But I've been loud and clear. I won't repeat myself." Dave said, while moving out.

"And oh, just because you're my wife, don't even think that you own half of this, I sorted that out to. So even if we divorce right now, you walk away with nothing." Dave added.

I shouldn't have brought Dave into this company. It was a mistake to accept him back in my life but a very huge mistake accepting him into my company.
