1 Chapter One: Dreams of Dragons

It was like any day, the only difference was the reacquiring nightmares. were they nightmares or dreams? what were they, they felt real as if they were memories. Eliza pushed the thoughts from her mind. it wasn't the time for daydreams nor thinking about what her dreams could mean. She sighs as he brushed her golden hair. as she was brushing her hair her maid azula walked in. "pardon me for coming in and not saying who I was first my lady," azula quickly got Eliza's outfit and helped her into it. " it's okay azula. is father and brother going to join me for breakfast today!? or are they too busy with business as always? " Eliza always wondered why her father and older brother Alexander were always busy with work. Azula chuckles softly as she carefully puts Eliza's hair into a elegant set of braids. Eliza gasps once she say which hairstyle that her maid had chose for her. "dragon queen braids, you always did know that that's my favorite hairstyle." Eliza smiles happily as she twirls a long strand of golden silver hair. well her hair was actually golden blonde and silver blonde. "of course my lady. it suits you quite well. it was like it was made just for you. oh and I apologize for not answering your question my lady. your brother sends his regards. he will not be able to join you for breakfast nor will your father. the meeting they are attending has been extended for another three weeks." Azula hated telling her such news but it had to be done. Eliza sighs as she gets up from the chair she was sitting on. "it's okay zuzu. after breakfast I would like to go to the library before going to take a walk around the garden." Azula smiles as she nods, " of course my lady. First you should eat breakfast before studying. can't have my lady studying on an empty stomach can we." Eliza nods as she sighs. "it would be wise to have some breakfast. after all i am guessing that we have a busy day ahead of us?" Alzula nods, "my lady your elder brother Alexander decided that he would send you some gifts to apologize for his absence for the next month and a half. i'm quite curious of what he sent seeing as technology these days have been getting more and more advanced." Eliza laughs softly as she nods, "well it makes sense that technology has been advancing so quickly. after all we have the mages and celestial beings to thank for that. without them we would be centuries behind. plus all of the nations have been at peace for at least four thousand years now." Azula was beyond ecstatic that her lady had remembered such a thing."oh have you heard the news zuzu? the queen and king of the celestial kingdom has put out word that they have a daughter that went missing when she was a new born. weird right? to top it off their son was taken as well." Azula was curious of how she found out. but it wasn't her place to say anything about it.
