4 Found

As the young girl made her way 'home', she paused for a moment before looking at the bush she normally crawled through. It was an odd plant. For some reason, when she went through it. It was as if it covered her in nature's natural scents and hid her own.

Looking down at the hoodie she wore, she pressed her lips together while trying to debate if it would be best to go the same way or not. For some reason she didn't want to lose the scent that was on the hoodie. It was irrational, as the scent would allow anyone to become aware of her presence.

After standing there for a few minutes, she finally huffed a small breath of air out before turning to make her way around the bush. She would regret it later if need be, but the scent made her feel so safe and secure, she didn't want it to be covered up by that bush's magic.

The large bush caused her to go a few minutes out of her way, but she didn't mind, enjoying the earthy scent that belonged to the hoodie. It smelt of musk and some pine. Nuzzling it with her nose, she continued to walk while taking in that wonderful smell.

A couple of minutes later, the young girl managed to get back to her tree and start her climb up to her hiding hole. There she situated herself again to look through the odd box she found. Taking out the food, she began to eat it with a relish. Boy did it taste much better than the berry and nuts she'd had for breakfast!

While she enjoyed the meal she'd found, a sound of some snapping twigs brought her head up, her eyes widening as she felt her heart rate quicken. Slowly she moved to peer down from the hole, where she saw a group of men slowly walking towards her. Maybe she should have gone through the bush….

--

Jake and his group had spent a few hours trying to track the unscented thief. Thankfully the blasted person had taken their Alpha's hoodie, so his scent was helping them follow the path the damn bastard took.

Despite being a werewolf, Jake really didn't like marching through the woods in his human form, he wanted to shift and just run and enjoy the feeling of dirt on his feet, but they were not sure of what they were tracking, so staying in human form for now was best. Besides, it helped them be a bit quieter with the many twigs that littered the ground.

Sure they were great Trackers, but Jake was a bit of a loud walker. More so if he was in his wolf form. For the umpth time he'd stepped on a twig, letting the sound echo around them. Loe glared at him as he snapped his head back, his frustration clear on his face. "Can you at least be quiet! You were the one who had demanded that you come along, despite knowing you are louder than a damn bull!" he cursed softly while slowly trying to follow the trace of their Alpha's scent forward.

When the scent came to a stop, they all paused and began to look around, Jake hanging back as his eyes went over the large trees and bushes as if hoping there was some cave or some hole to help them.

Slowly his blue eyes gazed upwards, catching a glimpse of some dirty face before it retreated into the safety of the tree trunk again. "Found you!" he then called out, causing Leo and his group to jump again before looking up at the tree.

"Come on down now!" they called, making the young girl frustrated as she frantically searched for something to help her. There was no way she'd be able to get down safely and get away before they caught her. So she had one option. Stay up where she was safe til they gave up.
