Chapter-40 Lydia's Effect

Max's POV 

It had been more than fifteen minutes since Laura went with her friends upstairs. Rest of the kids had started leaving. Oliver came to me and whispered, " Let's meet tomorrow. I will tell you about my plan. This is my phone, give me your phone number. "

I gave him my number and whispered to him, " Don't pretend like we are close. I still hate you to death. " 

He smiled and left the house with rest of the people too. There were only three people left along with me and they were also about to leave. Why wasn't Laura coming down yet? What am I supposed to do now? I thought. 

I screamed, " Laura. Laura. Where are you? Nearly everyone has left."

She answered, " I am upstairs. Come to the room that is right in front of the stairs. "

I went upstairs and when I reached, Laura's both of the friends looked at me in a very wierd manner.
