1 Chapter 1-The incident

''Morning Mom!'' I say as I walk down the stairs. '' Morning Hun, come sit down I've cooked breakfast it's your favorite '' '' Pecan pancakes'' we both say. '' Thanks, Mom, But I'm not hungry '' '' oh ok sweetie make sure u grab your lunch'' '' Ok mom'' I Say as I walk out of the door with my lunch in my hand. As I walk to school I think about my best friend Chipmunk well that's what I call her anyway her names Miley. We have been best friends since the second grade. She is Amazing and Hillarious I wuv her. As I walk into the school building I see her waiting at my locker with the slightest smile on her face. '' you ok? '' I say... she looks up '' J! how was your walk '' I smile as she talks '' IT WAS AMAZING...I saw birds and a plane then I saw you! ''stop being sarcastic u little weirdo''

í smile '' Stawppp'' I say as I grab my stuff out of my bookbag and close my locker. ''hey chipmunk...'' '' yea J'' I sigh '' Fathers coming home today'' She gasps ''w-what...'' She freezes '' I wish for you the best'' I nervously smile and head to class.

After School

I walk out of my last class to head to my locker noticing a note from Miley saying she had to go home early because she had a dentist appointment. I sigh as I grab my book bag out of my locker and head home.

15 mins later

I approach my Apartment door scared to turn the knob. I grab my keys unlocking the door. I take deep breaths as I turn the knob and open the door. I notice a tall Chunky man in front of me... I then figure out that he was my father.

''H-hey daughter how was school'' a fake smile plastered on his face he acts so differently around mom I hate it. '' It was great'' I say trying to dodge the question. '' oh cmon hug me'' he says trying to block my way to my room. I get annoyed and give him a light hug. " That's my girl'' he says I roll my eyes. I walk to my room and throw my stuff on my bed. I sigh as I go to my desk to do my homework.

1 hour later

As I finish my last problem I feel a light presence behind me. I slowly look at the time....7:46 crap moms at work I thought. I slowly get up from my chair to see that my father is behind me and he is holding something behind his back. '' H-hey what are u doing in my room this late''. He rolls his eyes '' Shut up you MISTAKE!''. I sit up and look into my father's eyes. I see a fiery fire in his eyes. '' COME HERE UGLY [BEEP]''. I slowly walk to my father trying to hold back tears. He brings out his nailed bat and hits me once with it. I wince with pain as I try to get up. He hits me again and again and again and again. He then hits my head and I fall to the ground. I touch my forehead feeling blood gushing from my head. It felt like I was falling forever. I then hear my dad panicking. Suddenly my world went dark.
