5 Endless doubts
Khaled feels as he had taken several stabs, he didn't know who to believe.
And he remembered the psychologist's words that he must cut off doubt with certainty. The suspicions between the two people are almost the same, except for the feelings. The one who possesses them is one person.
Khaled received the last call from his assistant. Khaled asked him, "Did you find anything?"
The assistant said, "in fact, through investigation, El-Massry Company which I found it's manipulated files on Mr. Awad's laptop, is your current company in Cairo, but before you seized it, you were the one who helped bankrupted it. And Awad's case was through El-Massry company, not Asim, as you told me.
Khaled interrupts him, "the documents on Awad's laptop were for El-Massry company or Asim's company."
The assistant said, "it was for the El-Massry company."
Khaled thinks to himself, "I can't understand", and he tells his assistant to finish.
His assistant told him that is after investigating Awad's case, he found that he had been accused of embezzlement when he was working for El-Massry company, and he told him that, there was something that went fishy in the files he had found on Mr. Awad's laptop belonged to the El-Massry company, but the one who owned them at the time was Mr. Aziz.
Khaled told him that he was very confused and couldn't understand well.
His assistant told him that Awad's accusation of embezzlement was not when Mr. Khaled owned the company, but long before him
Khaled asked his assistant, "Why does it take all these times to investigate? Come back to explain everything to me."
His assistant replied to him, "Doing it secretly is the reason it took me so long, I am still looking into it."
Khaled asked him, "Is there's anything else you would like to tell me?"
The assistant answered, "yes, but I do not know if this information is useful or not."
Khaled answered, "I am the one who decides if it is useful or not."
"Awad is an orphan. He and his wife were raised in an orphanage, and he doesn't have any relatives, so no one cares to prove his innocence, and after I read the case file, I think many things do not seem true."
Then, he told him that he feels there is something fishy about this case, him.
Khaled asked him, "Why do you think that?"
The assistant replied, "Why was the suicide letter at Awad's house? Wouldn't it be better if they were the place of his death?"
Khaled interrupts him, "Was there a suicide letter?"
The assistant told him that the police had found a suicide letter, Awad admitted that he had embezzled and that he couldn't stand people's looking at him, and at his family, so he committed suicide and killed his family.
Khaled hung up the phone and felt very suffocated. He went out to inhale some air because he felt that he couldn't breathe. Khaled went to the nearest lake to arrange his thoughts.
"Who am, I am feeling that my head will explode, Whom I could trust My father, Mary, the assistant, Or I Was I wrong when I didn't take the advice of the psychiatrist to check everything myself, Awad worked with my father from the beginning, but why my father didn't tell me, does he didn't know? But he told me that I am the one who hired him, but my assistant told me that Awad was accused of embezzlement before I even owned the company.
Oh! My gosh, I don't know what to do.
Who is lying, and who is telling the truth?
Should I travel to his Awad's residence, or surrender to the fate Arrangements?

It was night, and Khaled was still sitting in the lake, his father worried about him, so he called to check on him. He takes advantage of his father's presence at home and intended to ask his father to tell him everything. He arrived at the house and found his father looks like he's asleep sitting alone, And the TV is on.
"And Mr. Khaled Asim's star of rises again. What a successful businessman."
Khaled approaches his father and asks if he is still awake
His father responds, "Yeah son, I've been waiting for you, this was the first time you've been gone for so long without a call. I was really worried about you watch what on TV, I'm proud of you."
Khaled feels very embarrassed, and that it is not the right time to talk to his father because his father also looks very tired.
Khaled tells his father that he is very happy to hear this from him, but he would not have done anything without his help.
Mr. Aziz said, "You never changed at all."
Khaled replied, "why, I can't get you?"
Mr. Aziz justified, "I mean, you are the one who got tired to make this company grow. I was nothing but a supporter of you. Don't give me all the credits. It's only you, the honest and hardworking man.
Then, he is silent for a while and continues his speech...
But son, why don't you enjoy your life like other men, why all your life is working and visiting orphanages, why didn't you get married? And have children...." Khaled Interrupts his father, "The only enjoyment I have is being with orphan children in an orphanage. Children and work helping me to forget what I did. I can't forget myself till this moment", Khaled is trying to change the subject
"But did you take your medicine?"
Mr. Aziz asks Khaled, "why you evaded, I'm sorry, son, I'm sorry for all that happened to you."
Mr. Aziz looks very sad
Khalid asked, "Why You're sorry, Dad?"
Mr. Aziz "Huh... I just meant that didn't take the medicine."
Khaled told him that he is now the one who evades, then he laughs
Mr. Aziz said with a soft tone, "I want you to know that you are God's gift to me."
Khaled remembers Sara words in his dream,
"You and our children are the most beautiful gift God has sent me; you are the best person in this life, am very happy with you."
And tears in his eyes started to fall
Mr. Aziz, "Are you okay, I am sorry I didn't mean to make you feel bad."
Khaled "Don't worry about me, it wasn't because of you at all but I just felt like I had heard this talk before, and it touched my feelings. You are the one we have to worry about. Come on, take your medicine. I'll take you to your room.
Mr. Aziz, "I love you and I want you to be happy."
Khaled, "I know that, Dad. Every father wants his children's happiness. I will try to make you happier,
but can't you give me some time, so I can get myself back?"
Mr. Aziz says to him, "Of course I can."
He talks to himself, "But you are the one who can never get yourself out."
Khaled takes his father to his room and gives him medicine and leaves him to rest
Khaled wanted his father to feel comforter, so he went to the kitchen to prepare a snack for him, as he knows how much his father likes him to make something of his own hands. Khaled finishes making food and goes up to his father, puts the food on the table in front of the room door, he forgot to knock on the door, And entered the room. When he entered the room, his father got confused and threw something that was in his hands on the ground.
Khaled approached his father and looked at what he had thrown. But his father quickly hid it.
Suspicion leaked into Khaled, but he didn't react so that he would not make his father notice and act as he didn't see anything.
Khaled told himself that he would come at another time, and look at what his father had thrown.
Khaled sat with his father, talking so that he wouldn't notice his change
Khaled feels that his father is the epitome of love, tenderness, and care, but when it comes to talking about the past, he always runs away, so this was confusing for him.
But all he thought was that his father was hiding secrets from him to protect him not to harm him, but even if he felt that his father was lying to him, all the evidence indicates that he never lied to him, and concealing the facts is nothing but a feeling.
Khaled waited for a whole week so that he could search Mr. Aziz's room without worrying, His father had traveled to do some errands and would not return until two days later.
Khaled went up to his father's room and started looking and looking for what he had dropped, but he didn't find anything. But under his pillow he found a photo album that looked old, Khaled opened the album, and went through the pictures, and found a picture of his father with a young man who looks like he is 13 years old. Khaled says to himself, "what is this, is this me? But he does not look like me". And flips the picture to find someone who looks like Mary but when she was young with her mother, He finds a picture of his father with Mary's mother, but it seems from the picture that she was not just a friend, it seems that she was his girlfriend
Khaled is talking to himself, "This must be what my father was hiding. It seems that my conclusion is always wrong
I always doubt him, and he didn't do anything wrong, I should never doubt him again that's enough."
Khaled gets up from the bed to find a picture under the bed that looks like it fell off the album. Khaled takes the picture to see what's in it.
But he found what he couldn't expect when he saw it
as it includes Awad's family with his father, and they appear in a very intimate situation. His father puts Awad's sons on his legs So, was his father was lying to him all that time, but why he didn't do that?
And if I was Awad, why don't I remember my father, it is clear from the picture that the relationship was strong,
At that moment, Mr. Aziz comes suddenly and entered the room to find Khaled sitting on his bed holding his picture, and next to him is the photo album.
