13 Chapter 13: Finished Hand Fan Prototype

"Stop their thief! you can't escape from us!"

Joseph heard a shout from behind. He saw a hooded one running away from the 4 guys that was pursuing him. Two are holding a stick, one was unarmed and the last one has a sword in his belt.

The thief run faster and avoiding pedestrians far smoother than the pursuers who bump and push anyone in their way but still they are catching up with the thief.

Joseph turns away from them as he feared that it will implicate him. As he roams around the market place, he finds that there was a lot of things he can make that will surely sell well. The market doesn't have a lot of products for the convenience of everyday life.

He first thought of making sum water pump, but he must have a blacksmith with him to build the metallic parts. He then thinks about bicycle, but where will he get the chain and gears?

"System do you have shop features as well?" he asks as it will be a great help if he have this function as well.

[The system has a shop as well, but the player level is still low to unlock this feature.]

'it's good to hear, maybe I can find something useful there sooner or later.' He then wipes the sweat in his forehead feeling the heat of the surrounding. He remembers that it was the beginning of the summer season, so it was the hottest season throughout the year. 'Maybe a hand fan is a good idea.'

He saw the people walking and manning the stalls are somewhat uncomfortable with the heat.

'A hand fan is amazing. It was easy to make and the materials are not that hard to find.' he know that the materials are available as he saw it the market a while ago.

'Making the hand fan, I must have rubber, blade and a gear. I can make it in wood. It just needs to lock when Un operational and when the button press it will unlock. Using mechanical force to Rotate the fan blades.' He then looks to the market. "I'll start buying tools that I need and the materials as well. Let's make a prototype for tonight."

He then goes to the market again ang buy all the things he needed. "30 silver for materials and 3 gold coins for tools. hmm, not that bad. now all I left is 16 gold and 70 silvers and the materials are good to make 10-12 Hand fans."

1 Gold coin is equal to 100 silver coins, 1 silver coins is equal to 10 bronzes.

"If I converted it correctly, 1 copper is equivalent to fifty cents in dollar. Which I have an investment of 10,000 dollars. I didn't know Uncle is that rich when he only operates a bakery. He accomplishes the model and write it down, as well as the blueprint for the Hand fan. He plans to hire some craftsman to do the work. After 3 hours of sketching, Prototyping and recording the data, he has finished all the needed information for the hired craftsman to finish the project. He also made another copy of the prototype to show the crafts man how should the product work.

He then went to Mr. Rock to ask about the business situation in the city.
