Chapter 11: Business

As they heard the man, he can see the despair in Ashley's eyes. Soon she stands and walk to the door.

"Wait for me, I'll get you back."

Without looking back Ashley can't hold his eyes anymore and started to cry. "I'll wait for you, even how long it takes."

'I know that I can't do anything now, but it doesn't mean I can't do it in the future. This count is really wicked, just wait and I'll destroy you.' Joseph thought while having a heavy heart knowing how useless he is.

Ashley was escorted to the carriage just like how he saw in his dreams. Feeling Deja Vu for how it is happening the way he sees it in his sleep.

Soon the carriage was away and can't be seen. He walks back on the bakery just to see Mr. Rock closing it early.

"Boy! want to drink? my treat."

"You didn't forget that I don't have any money, don't you?"

"Actually, you have, but I used it to bail you out from that shity dungeon guard. You know it will be harder to get you out the longer you stayed there."

"Thank you."

That day they go to the inn and drink some beer. But Joseph finds it so light that he can't even get drunk even though he already finishes his fifth glass.

"So, she told you everything huh?" Mr. Rock said then finish the remaining beer in his glass.

He nods silently then he also finishes the beer in his glass.

"let's go home, it seems like I can't lighten my mood with this." He sighs and stand "thank you Uncle but I can do this myself."

"I know kid, you are not like the wimpy kid before but a kid is still a kid." Mr. Rock said then he looks at Joseph eyes seriously, "What do you want to do now kid? what are you planning?"

"Just improving myself, the faster the better."

"Do you want to know how to handle a sword?" Mr. Rock said while looking at the ceiling thinking if it was the right thing to do or not.

"If given an opportunity to learn then why not." then Joseph walks away going home.

it was not yet dark even though they started drinking at noon, so he gets home a little later because of the crowded street.

When he reaches the house, he directly goes to his bedroom and look at the book with a title, The Legent of Zenith City.

He looks at the blueprint in one of the pages, it was the power ring. 'Maybe I need to finish this as soon as possible, all ideas I had needed Power source to operate.'

'Maybe there was a workshop around here to make those components I need. But I also need money to order them.'

'Let's to business.' He thought with a glitter in his eyes as if he saw the future where he can have money more than what he can spent.
